I walked much of this same route in the opposite direction on my last trip. Quite bittersweet to behold. Thanks Kenneth. .

Ak your persistence climbing Morningside Drive with problematic gears and subsequent addressing the somewhat haphazard traffic on the downside towards Manhattan Valley continues to demonstrate your excellent character. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable video at the high standard we have come to expect from you.

Action Kid.....I wish you were around when I was growing up in the 70's.....you would have been so cool to hangout with! PLEASE tell your wife we said "thank you" for taking us around the 5 boroughs. It takes a very special lady to share her man/husband with 136k subscribers!

My friend lives on West 72nd, three buildings in from CPW. The last time I walked in that area was during the bomb cyclone of 2018. 03:50 - The San Remo Apartment Building Thank you for sharing this ride. I watch at 50% speed to spare my heart from going into my stomach. I prefer the slower pace of walking...away from the speeding cars and busses. I can't help but worry for you AK.

ActionKid haha yeah the goal is to familiarize myself with the city so I don’t feel too lost when/if I ever get to see it in person! It’s a long way from where I’m from though (Germany) so we’ll see haha

Quite a nice ride AK.! Soon all the trees will obscure the sky. It's great, but I like the open sky view in winter. All the likes and dislikes of the seasonal changes eh, many really miss if they move from E coast. This trip sure reminds me of my NY youth, when we lived on our bikes.

2:30 Congregation Shaerith Israel, the oldest synagogue in the City (not this building, but the organization). First came to New York from Brazil in 1655 fleeing persecution there. They have three ancient cemeteries in lower and midtown Manhattan and one that is part of the Evergreen Cemetery Complex along the border of Brooklyn and Queens. - AIA Guide

Hi Ken. I'm enjoying the bike rides. Question; Other than Penn Station, Grand central & Port authority, do you happen to know of any public bathrooms that may be open? I wanted to do an 8-10 mile walk and didn't want to get stuck. Thanks!

I take that route on Central park west all the time, very dangerous having the bike lane to the left of parked cars! That is where and how that girl from Australia was killed last year! A taxi pulled out without warning and forced her out into traffic where a garbage truck hit her it was very sad!

You made a big mistake in that video. He didn't stop for 1 minute to show DAKOTA BUILDING, one of the most famous buildings in Central Park, where a beatle named JOHN LENNON lived. Do you know THE BEATLES ?? I'm from Brazil. FALHA IMPERDOÁVEL !!
