I have a friend who knew this guy who suffered from severe PTSD. Every week he would go to the grocery store, where a group of about 10 punks had decided that he was fun to tease. He always tried to avoid them but they kept pushing him. One day one of the punks decided that it would be fun to pull a knife on him to scare him. Five minutes later there were ten punks lying on the ground with several broken bones and he barely had a scratch. Turns out his PTSD came from being former special ops.

A helicopter is so specific. Not a train, not a building, not into something, not through something. A helicopter. So… are we going to sit quietly while the heli gains altitude and gets to a good spot, then open the door and out you go? Is a little two seater helicopter or a great big cargo one? There’s so much involved in this idea to make it work.

Alan Ritchson has said he bulked up too much for S2 (an extra 30lbs from S1) and that shows in the fighting scenes in this season. Yes, they were still great, but not as dynamic as S1. Hopefully the new season will see Reacher back at ultimate fighting weight and flexibility. :)

I've seen the Jack Reacher movies, and had never seen this Alan Ritschon (?) version. I've just watched this scene, and it will be the last. He has the acting skills of a block of wood. (So do the co-stars by the way.) Tom Cruise is an actor, and that makes all the difference.
