So this only shows how long it takes to render one frame where the playhead is sitting? What about the whole comp?

This is not a great tool, as Adobe covering their assss by providing delay view control instead of not making the complex compositing in efficient way of playbacking. Still we use high end Graphics card and still we can see the composition sucks.. they are tellling us to degrade our comps to react faster. this is not efficient, this is the master of stupidity..
