seeing these professionals in action is both thrilling and inspiring. It's evident that their rigorous training and expertise make them the elite force they are. The way they navigate through tight spaces, clear rooms, and handle their weapons with such efficiency is a testament to their skill level.

I find this level of training both impressive and inspiring. It's a testament to the importance of continuous training and readiness in mastering firearms for self-defense and protection of others.

its crazy to see the difference in CQB/CQC from one unit to another
@mcleancorpusa8709
@mcleancorpusa8709 6 ай бұрын
The most important thing is that whatever team is working together is all on the same page. Tactics are always evolving. Some units are stuck in the past, but so long as they can all read off each other and protect eachothers backs, that is the priority.
@victorblack1092

Being in a shoot house with a catwalk we were never allowed to utilize high port/ready. They all got flagged 😂
@mcleancorpusa8709
@mcleancorpusa8709 6 ай бұрын
This is very common training in the SEAL Teams and it's a huge training scar for those who train low port because of it. Low port is not ideal for real world CQC. Not to mention, I've never been flagged more in my life than when working with SWAT teams, who train low port.

@@christopherkey3488 Pieing a doorway is not always a good option. Sometimes speed, surprise, and violence are a better problem solver than deliberate clearing from outside the threshold. Sometimes it's not. It's important to train both.

my question is, what is the benefit of doing high compressed when clearing instead of Low compressed?
@mcleancorpusa8709
@mcleancorpusa8709 6 ай бұрын
Coming through a doorway at low ready allows for someone to potentially control your rifle and pin it against your body, where high ready you are punching through the threshold allowing you to muzzle strike if someone is right in the doorway as you make entry.
@therealjohnsmith4811
@therealjohnsmith4811 6 ай бұрын
@@mcleancorpusa8709Internet BS. If the person is that close you are going hands no matter what. At high ready the gun is getting shoved back in your face. Been there, done that. At low ready you can let go of the gun and immediately go to hands. That whole striking down thing is nonsense. Ever notice they never actually show it happening? You also do not want anything obstructing your view of the target area. What if the room is dark? Where are your light and laser pointed? High positions have their place. This isn’t one of them.

Interesting how comments seem to get deleted. There is no advantage to high compress. Low ready in the better overall position for many reasons.
