Active flexibility is super important for your overall physical health and your safe flexibility progress!
In this video we're going over few strengthening exercises for hip flexors and glutes as well as hamstrings stretches needed for flat and square front splits.
Benefits of active flexibility including improving functionality, injury prevention, correcting muscle imbalances, and progressing faster.
This follow along routine can also serve as a warm up for intermediate and advanced levels before you attempt over splits , standing splits or different splitty shapes.
