None of these civilian responses say anything about legally armed citizens. I am in no way going to rely on the response of a police force to stop an active threat when I am right there. Very few of these videos even make mention that it is the civilians who stop these threats well before police arrive.

Interrupt with a rescue tool. Your own gun. If you are inclined to fight back, choose an effective tool. Your life truly does depend on it. Duh. Throwing soda cans and staplers are very poor choices in weapon selection. It troubles me to hear guns ommitted, in favor of non lethal force. The life you save might be your own. Reholster. Render aid with your edc med kit. Get training in use of your sidearm and use of your med kit and tourniquet. Be wary of freaked out cops.

A really shallow and non consequential distinction the deputy tried to make their the six-minute mark, that an individual who went to his wife's work to do harm to her and maybe had to go through other people and opened up and began shooting is not the active shooter they're talkin about. If someone comes into an office space even with an intended target in mind and is willing to shoot others to get to her do you think it matters whether they are mainly upset at one person if they are willing to kill anyone to get to her?! Not a good start giving this simple and silly distinction, it doesn't matter if you intend your violence towards one person if you're willing to kill anyone to get to your person

We can blame this killing attitudes on our public schools, because if you teach kids they are no more than an animal how do you expect them to act ? Huh? No judgement at the end if your life for anything you do OK get it , no right or wrong if you are an atheist you don't know what's good or bad you have nothing to compare it to

Do you really need a 1000+-year-old book to tell you murder is bad? Atheists believe murder is bad cause it takes away the life of an innocent human being and leaves an aftermath of devastation. We also can't have a functional society if people are killing each other. Normal people don't need some holy book to know that murder is bad and can form reasons as to why murder is bad without needing a book on religion.
