Thank You Chief Jimenez!! At my job(I work in a call center), we are given a periodic computer based training on workplace violence prevention and intervention. Recently I asked my boss to send a letter to the appropriate chain of command about seeing if someone from the Security department could present us with a training, in person, to further enhance or develop skills to protect ourselves and our coworkers. We never got a response and I find myself wanting to go further up the chain of command with another letter. How frustrating and scarey that it should be this difficult. So today I decided to search KZbin on this subject and found this lecture. Outstanding . I will keep training myself with these types of lectures . God forbid should I ever have to apply it.

I’ve survived a shooting that happened in me and my wife’s apartment and initiatory violence. Always be prepared. As they say in the streets, “stay strapped or get clapped.”

Good ideas for sure but in most of the active shooter cases I’m familiar with the shooter doesn’t stop until he is faced with deadly force either from law enforcement or an armed citizen.

Security guards should be in all schools in America, and security checks on all individuals before entry! Gun Violence in America is out of control! 😢
@MotivatedMia
@MotivatedMia 6 ай бұрын
@opengates777 There are alot of armed security guards and school police officers at alot of schools all over the United States. Sadly it does not prevent active shooter attacks. Security checks wouldn't prevent the active shooter attacks. These events happen suddenly and the shooter usually just shows up unexpected and shoots everyone. It is difficult to be prepared but more armed patrol officers around schools may prevent these incidents or access to a alert button that will alert police immediately may help. Gun violence is out of control can't disagree with you about that....getting it under control is the biggest issue.

If you are with your family and they might not be able to get out fast enough then what? 🤔I rather be armed and buy my family time to get out safely. How often do we see the crazy shooting up police stations or gun ranges? Where do they go? Gun free zone of course.

Why don’t you mention how if everyone carries concealed then you could shoot the bad guy and save yourself your friends and family! Also what about everyone carrying a tk4 tourniquets in their pocket and look on KZbin for a 20 minutes lesson on how to stop bleed with a 15 dollar tk4 tourniquet?

If you shoot the bad guy, and police show up then the police will now see you as the bad guy since you have a gun. They don't know the sequence of events prior to their arrival, so it's a logical assumption for them to make. Not worth getting shot at by cops or falsely arrested for being the assailant. Just follow run, hide, fight until cops arrive, and if you need to fight use a fire extinguisher or pair of scissors. A fire extinguisher can easily knock someone out, while having the benefit of not being a lethal weapon that cops might feel threatened by.

Take Semi Auto weapons away from these shooter as all three parts of his plan increase dramatically in effectiveness.
@leprechaun3677
@leprechaun3677 5 жыл бұрын
x STiCKFiGA x Should be pretty easy when they’re dead. What we really need is to find away to identify who is a threat before they become “shooter”. El Paso Walmart was a gun free zone, Gilroy CA, the shooter “illegally purchased ammo in Nevada”, Parkland, Aurora, all gun free zones, Chicago might as well be a gun free zone.... And yet here we are with people breaking the law because they don’t give two shits about the law or their lives. That’s where the issue starts and has seldom to do with “Semi Auto weapons”; if these killers wanted to they could take a car down a busy sidewalk. The issue has little to do with guns and more to do with our society and the ease of access to mental health services and the ability to get help without the stigmatization. If you want to infringe on the second amendment rights well then you will leave 340 million Americans defenseless against criminals who don’t care about the law and tyrannical governments. Glad to see you too are watching informational videos to help better your chance of survival should it happen to you.

Snow Paint078 BTW in Australia we have had people take to footpaths since military style weapons have been taken out of circulation. The death toll pales in compassion to a man armed with a AK47. Cities here have put in bollards to minimise. Bollards can’t stop a fully loaded Assault rifle.

And yet everything’s Ng he said is still true. The crime rate in Australia went up when you lost your right to bear arms. Criminals don’t care about the law and will find a way. It’s not the gun. It’s the person. Prime example: more people are murdered with hammers then the AR rifle.

Or let people Constitutional carry so they can defend themselves in those commercial areas, to and from POV and home. No one heard about the attempted mass shooting in a church when someone there was armed with a semi auto pistol and stopped it from happening.

The most effective way to survive an active shooter situation is to shoot back. The most effective way to avoid an active shooter situation is to carry a holstered firearm openly on your hip where everybody can see it. Most of these violent sociopaths don't have the guts to start a rampage when they see other people with guns.
