This is exactly the thing I've been working on. Thank you so much! I've said it before, Brian is the best guitar teacher on the net, let alone KZbin. If you want to up your game, Brian can get you there!

This first comment sums up exactly what I was thinking....I don´t usually write comments, but this guy deservs an award for his outstanding work. He is by far the most dedicated and superb teacher I have found. The amount of work he puts in, is well worth it. If he designs a course I will buy it as a form of appreciation

A+ for this week Brian. I really need to practice my arpeggios. Not just 1 or 2 but all of them. I'm a song guy, that's why I started playing guitar again so I could play all the songs from my life that I hum and sing daily but I can't do solos correctly if I don't know all the notes that make it sound so good. Thanks, your knowledge is helping so many people. Your the guitar God Brian. Have a happy Brian day, I sure got a kick out of that guys parents.

Dear Brian, I have been a premium subscriber for the last 3-4 years, and I consider myself an advanced beginner. I find most of your recent lessons overly technical, packed with too much information for me to be able to absorb, and less inspiring to tackle. I really admire you for coming up with something new each week, I only wish your lessons could be less complicated and more musical, like they were in the past (in my own humble opinion). Thank you for all that you give us, regards, Anthony.

Hey, Brian, please don't get mad, but I'ma gonna correct you here: At (~17:50 or so) you say you're going to the 5th interval, but what you mean is the 5th scale degree. Right? Just tryin' to keep everything straight in my head.... (I know it's a fine point, and sometimes it doesn't even matter, which might be the case in THIS case!) LOVE this lesson, BTW! This is exactly what I need right now, as usual! This is the stuff I'm working on, so anything new just helps! Thanks! 👌👍 🤪

You could check out lessons: EP556 - EP560 those are the 5 positions of the CAGED system and have the corresponding major and minor pentatonic scale positions in each lesson

Great lesson but the 5th fret B string ( E note ) is not the flat 5th of G. That would be the F note, making a G 6th chord. It sounded fine and I played it through a few times until I noticed the error. It sounds ok but the description is wrong. ( I think , still think I must have dreamt it as it’s the first mistake? I’ve noticed in hundreds of your videos. ???
@MrFrampo5625 күн бұрын
Correction - the F note makes a G6th sound. You are just one fret / semitone out in the description. Oh hang it , I’m sure you know what I mean. Probably better than I do!
