Thank you Emily Hunter. Activism for Animal Rights also needs to be embraced and Sea Shepherd is doing this for sea mammals. I live in a city where young activists for veganism and Animal Rights are growing in numbers each year thanks to Sea Shepherd and other organizations. It's amazing to watch this happening! You are following in your Dad's foot steps by speaking about these issues at this critical time.

Great speech, I think you made the right decision about making public speaking a part of your career. I really liked these points that you made: "We can be our own changemakers" and "We are not hopeless. Our planet is not hopeless" and finally, the fact that there is much much more fossil fuel in the ground than is sufficient to cause climate change. I think that the future of environmental activism needs to include education about how to live sustainably. Whether it's with the internet or with face-to-face interaction, telling the public about what is going on with the planet and with environmental issues has to be part of Activism 2.0.

Now KZbin will ban all criticism, so in case no one can argue against you, you must be right? Right?

I like your perspective on ways we can help. It is a positive and more hopeful way of looking at each individuals impact on the world. I am not the younger generation you talked about, but I can still make a difference. Keep working for change!

Nice story for fans, but if the Nothern part of the world has more trees than ever before, we must be doing great already! Trees love co2 and with even more co2 they will grow better.

With the technology we have right now, whale oil is seriously outdated. If any poor country is still using whale oil, it is because of the outdated socioeconomic and political model they have. And THAT is what we need to change.

Are you implying that countries with contemporary economic and political models have a smaller impact on the environment? Converting them to the western standard will only contribute to the growing environmental destruction and overpopulation. We need to figure our shit out before we go out forcing our way of life on everyone else

BerserkerSlayer042 Appreciate your comment. On the contrary, I find the contemporary economic and political model also needs change based upon the technology that we have.

I hope this woman doesn't support the meat and dairy industries. It would be highly hypocritical if she did.
