*Real face of Ladakhi activist Sonam Wangchuk* His father was a Cabinet Minister from Congress in j&k govt. for a long time. An American woman came to Ladakh and met Sonam and sonam married her in 1996. Sonam got a scholarship Sponsored by 3 Foreign NGOs including Rockefeller, Ford etc for study abroad. Returned in 2002. Manmohan Govt in 2004 appointed him in a Committee for Ladakh's Development and for preparing Tourism Plan for Ladakh. Media and Bollywood ran a propaganda that 3 Idiot superhit film is made on Sonam... a poor orphan guy. Sonam got 3 International Awards for Social Work after 2012 which were funded by Rockefeller and Ford Foundations. Again Ford Foundation funded Magsaysay Award was given to him in 2018. He never raised Chinese aggression in Ladakh or the poor infrastructure and other basic things in Ladakh during Congress rule in the Centre. Never fought for UT status. But now he is vehemently opposing infrastructure, road, work and industry etc in Ladakh.... WHY ? Before Lok Sabha 2024 Elections he went on a fast and led an agitation against the Centre amidst controversy surroundings him for land encroachment in phyang village
