В этот раз стрим продолжался 3, 5 часа и конечный результат объявили тогда, когда большинство Диарс ушли сразу после 3х часов голосования и количество реквестов упало критически. This is the song and video that propelled Dimash to #1 in requests on the MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream for six weeks in a row. Sadly Dimash fell to #2 last Friday due to not quite enough number of Dears showing up to vote for him. Any Dimash fan who would like to see him return to the top where he belongs should tune into the MTV Friday Livestream EVERY Friday from 5-8 pm New York time and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. It's an easy way to give back to Dimash for all he has given to us.

Sharing this info about this video as this is owned by SONY ENTERTAINMENT and could be seen only at times I find it may be my senior moment also. LOL. Here is what I know about how he was chosen and credit names. The composer (Piergiuseppe Zaia) initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film, and the title of the piece is "The Story of Jesus". When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits. Sony released Dimash's track last year with a video, using green screen and FX in which Zaia inserted Dimash into scenes from his science fiction film...so lots of spaceships, aliens and such. This new, just-released video you reacted to is Dimash's own creation/production, as he imagines the song. For me, this video seems closer to the original intent of the composition. I would love to know what Piergiuseppe Zaia thinks of it. Dimash has made second video thru his label using the same song and he can do it all from every aspect of background, instruments, his wishes are always followed but he listens to suggestions. You will see video being made that will tell you all this inside information. The Video is so cool giving the illusion of underworld effect with a huge whale. Dimash understands the importance of conveying the real story of music through performance. His total commitment to the story in appearance, dress, body language, and emotion is like a mini-opera. Or a Popera if you like. Hs intense operatic, blues, jazz, folk, world, and pop music training are all elements within the story. If you want to analyze a Dimash music video why not check out one where creative control was with Dimash and his people instead of a movie company? I suggest "Screaming ", the official music video by Dimash. He plays piano, drums and sings multiple layers of backup vocals to himself. It is awesome and I know you are going to love it. In my opinion it is much better than this one, and I really like this one too. There is also a live version of Screaming called "Screaming Idol Hits ", which is a unique version of the same song and shows Dimash having intimate give and take with his fans. PLEASE - go and watch the LIVE version he just posted on his KZbin channel. As much as I know what Dimash can do with his voice, I never thought a live version of this particular song would be as good vocally as the video. OMG I was wrong. The man is a true phenomenon.

The composer demo'ed this with a Baritone, an Alto and a Soprano. And even then the Soprano had a tough time with the highest notes. Then Dimash comes along and sings the whole thing perfectly. He is truly a once in a Millennium type of talent 🙌🏼💜

The powers that be in the making of that movie, sent out a couple of scouts to find the most beautiful voice in the world to sing this. They immediately went to their computers and typed in "most beautiful singing voice in the world" and up popped Dimash' name. They sent him the score to see if he was interested. He recorded in his studio and emailed it back to them and as far as I know, not one other person was even considered. I had hoped you might recognize the French actor Gérard Depardieu. You may be a bit young to know much about him, but I remember him from such movies as Green Card Staring Andi MacDowell.

I love watching you fall into the Dimash Zone. 😄 The upcoming MV of "Be With Me" is supposed to be coming out very soon, if you want to see him do something very different from the neoclassical/popera sound you're used to hearing from him. Might want to buckle your seat belt for that one. 😂

Hi Cedric, That was a brilliant reaction. This was put together during lockdown (there is a greenscreen video on YT of this being made) using clips from the film and a little CGI, it still turned out great though. For cinematics you need to see his MV's For "Qairan Elim", "love of tired swans", "Golden", "Screaming" all great cinematography. When this score was presented to Dimash by the composer/producer of the movie, there were 300 musicians/elements involved and they had three singers to cover the range and they didnt manage it !! 👍👍👌👌😊😊
