I disagree that a true Christian can have a demon "hiding" in his body...A Born Again Christian has the Holy Spirit indwelling within them. Surely The Holy Spirit would not allow a demon living beside him. There is a distinct difference between being possessed by a demon and being oppressed or influenced by a demon. Demon possession involves a demon having direct/complete control over the thoughts and/or actions of a person (Matthew 17:14-18; Luke 4:33-35; 8:27-33). If a Christian has the Holy Spirit indwelling within them, that would be impossible. Demon oppression or influence involves a demon or demons attacking a person spiritually and/or encouraging him/her into sinful behavior. That happens without possession. Notice that in all the New Testament passages dealing with spiritual warfare, there are no instructions to cast a demon out of a believer (Ephesians 6:10-18). Believers are told to resist the devil (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9), not to cast him out. If demons were coming out, he needs to be Born-Again. Jesus said that you must be Born-Again to inherit the kingdom of God.

A Christian cannot be possessed, but demons can live in their soul. The soul is your mind, will, and emotions. The Holy Spirit lives in our spirits, and that’s why we cannot be possessed, but a demon can live in the soul of a person “the flesh” and have influence over certain areas of their life. Many Christian’s are walking around with demons and don’t know it. Those who live holy can still have demons but that lay dormant waiting for an opportunity to oppress the person through their sin. Those who live lukewarm Christian lives can have demons actually operating through them and exercising strong influence in their life because of the sin they participate in. That’s called an open door. The Bible calls it giving the devil a foothold or giving place to the devil. If you open the door, demons will come in. Many Christians also have generational curses on their bloodline which allows demons legal right to torment them. Know anyone whose whole family struggles with addiction, certain sicknesses, poverty, rage, mental illness, sexual sin??? These are common generational curses that need to be broken. I had an extreme experience like Kel did and of if I didn’t know the Lord and have the Holy Spirit helping me when I was going through it, I would have lost my mind. No one can tell me I wasn’t saved because I knew my relationship with God and He led me to where I could get deliverance because I prayed for it. The only sin I was actively struggling with at the time was gluttony…and yet I had many many demons still in me from past sin and generational curses and I really had no idea until they started speaking out of me. And no, I wasn’t possessed. I was fully aware of what was going on, I had my own thoughts, and I had control of most of my body…it was just when the demons were speaking they had control of my mouth but they never had full control of me. After I was delivered everything went back to normal except my eyes were really opened to how much the devil really hates us and doesn’t play fair and how great the love of Jesus is for us. Now, I help others get delivered and it’s so beautiful. It’s my favorite part of ministry besides people getting saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. I’ve never cast demons out of an unbeliever because it’s dangerous for them. If they aren’t saved, they can actually be possessed and the Bible says when a demon goes out of a person it will bring 7 more wicked than themselves and come right back of that person is empty. The person has to be filled with the things of God and truly loving for Christ or they will end up worse off than before. So I only cast demons out of born again believers that have a real relationship with Jesus. It’s nothing to be played with. Jesus made it clear that deliverance is the children’s bread. That’s why so many believers are committing suicide, riddled with anxiety and depression…it’s because they need deliverance and can’t get it because the church refuses to believe a Christian can’t have demons. Well the Bible says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear bust a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind…so that anxiety and depression came from the devil. They are demons that need to be cast out. Counseling is needed, sometimes even medicine…but you can’t counsel or medicate a demon. They must cast out. I say counsel the person and cast out the demon.

A lot of us don’t believe in marriage because our parents get into a divorce including myself but I always tell my boyfriend I understand why people do it because of the belief and feeling of what that actually means of that makes sense. No one has to follow in their parents' foot steps instead you can do thing better than your parents did it. When you sleep around outside of the contents of marriage, the bible says you dishonor, sin against your own body, so if you want to honor the lord with your body/whole self, then you should or stop fornicating. You aren’t just laying down with the demons that person has. You are laying down with every demon from every person they laid down with and who they laid down with and who they laid down with. It could be MILLIONS of people slept around. Had I know this before I had sex and kept having it while dating NO WAY I would have done it. When I say I had a soul tie that drained the life out of me and I was foolish in the world listening to people telling me it’s a “twin flame “ it nearly sent me crazy over the edge crazy. I would literally do anything for this man, I spiralled like a parachute getting tangled in the air and diving full speed into the world. All praise to God and every life that’s ever prayed for me because only through Hod and spirit I got out the first time. Then they came back before they did I felt his presence before he called, every fibre in my body told me no! But I was delusional thinking “if it comes back to you, it’s meant for you” LIES! cos when all the truth was revealed from him and me ( I wasn’t perfect by far as I stated I was in the world and completely lost) it was God completely dismantling breaking me down. I had to go on medication for mental health went back to church got baptised and gave up everything! Although still things to go that are my fault yet still I’ve NEVER known peace like this in my life To GOD BE THE GLORY
