Took me 15-20 years of owning CTTE until I started not cringing a bit from Jon´s voice.. all PTSD from Jon&Vangelis 80s hit.. I associated his voice with bad 80s vibes.. I finally got over it and have been a huge Yes fan for over ten years. It´s been a great ride and now I´m happy I "saved" such a great band until later in my life when I needed it.. In a weird way I´m actually grateful I was skeptical to mr Anderson´s voice for so long.

Funnily enough when I listened to Leave It I didn't notice his voice so much, as there were plenty of other things to annoy me there, but with this one it was my only distraction...but your post gives me hope that one day my ears will relent and accept him!

YES, the greatest show on earth. I've seen YES 36 times from 75 to 2015. RIP Squire and White. ✨️🎶👑🎶✨️

Wow, that's a lot of shows! Only seen them once myself, on the Fly From Here tour, but very grateful to have had the chance to see Chris and Alan before it was too late.

I listen to This album and Tales while organizing my office or cleaning my garage. The real meat is in their albums from #1 to Yessongs

Another most beautifully exquisite song ever created by YES. Your Jon vocal issue is a huge problem with your ears. You're like the 1% that don't get it. His tone, tambor and texture plus skill as a singer are unmatched. Steve produces the most richly brilliant solo guitar moments ever. And that trio instrumental keys solo section is simply masterful

Oh it's certainly beautiful (if Annie Haslam was singing I'd be ALL over it, I'm sure!) but it doesn't matter that I don't 'get' Jon, he's a legend and doesn't need me (and I hear his new solo album is great, so good blimmin' on him!), just one of them things - ya can't love everything!

@Act0rJSB unlike Jon, unfortunately Annie can't sing like she once did.

The least good song on the album. Gates is truly epic, and Sound Chaser has the most epic start to a Yes song. This is pleasant

Haha, let's call it the 'third best' from the album then!
