It would take a million to recondition it. Replace rotten lumber and redo the roof to make the house last another fifty years. Vintage cabinets and vintage appliances I could live with..

The box in the basement had her married name on it. She was married to Gary Merrill ( also an actor) for 10 years. I wish you would have looked in those huge round containers in the attic and the dresser drawers.Of course Bette had a bar, she was a lifetime alcoholic. Enjoyed watching !

I think Betty Davis died about 50 years ago. The dining room light was low it's to be over a table. So sad it will probably be torn down and a modern home built in its place. That's what happened to Betty Whites home.

Could be another beautiful mansion if purchased. Thats crazy how they just become abandoned and decay over time. That floral wallpaper sure has Betty Davis writen all over it 😂 Seems like her style. A lot of reasons for one maybe they can’t find a buyer. Another reason is Family is in dispute. What they want to do with the property and it goes to court and the last few years or a lot of these places that the people don’t have family members or they live too far away and could care less.
