As a 53 year old, life-hardened truck driver, I have been reduced to tears of gratitude both to my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and to Mark, for capturing thoughts that hit so many of us very deeply, every one of the hundreds of times I've heard it! I have always had the most enormous respect and gratitude for this man. He is the reason my wife ever knew the Lord...and that was before I knew her! A few years ago, my wife and I saw a show of his and got to shake his hand after the show and thank him for that. Now, after 19 years of marriage, my wife is on hospice with cancer and a friend of mine had sent Mark an email or something telling him about my wife and her cancer. Yesterday I was blessed with a DropBox video of Mark saying "Hello" to my wife, calling her out by her full name, the full name of my friend who sent the email, addressing the cancer, and praying for her. Wow. Thank you again, Mark Lowry. We love you, brother!

From what I hear, Trudeau is a complete joke! He wants to do away with the Word of God, and wants to do away with Christianity altogether! I'm glad he's not my leader! I'm sorry that he's yours! He, from that point on, until the day of his death, served the LORD! God can still work miracles. He still saves those who seek him wholeheartedly! That can STILL happen to Mr. Trudeau-If Mr. Trudeau will humble himself to God, with all of his heart!

Good point, Krista Brewer. Mark is 63 now (2/2022) and, as he mentioned, he just turned 40 at the time of this recording. So, it's a safe assumption this show was around 23 years ago. This makes sense also because he mentions Saddam Hussein in his song as if Hussein was still alive and he died in 2006. Point being that, although there was a lot of ugliness in the world circa 1999, it truly was a different world than what we live in today!
