@0micky i agree, i use my hazards whn aproaching heavy traffic on motorways )highways/freeways) and not the horn becasue tht just attract other drives away for there concentration on the road i think.

One thing - instead of rigging this advanced ABS system with horn, it should turn on hazard lights. Way more useful...

Prova the truck with the trailer loaded to see if it slows you down so ... It brakes well as seeing it and you realize that is empty If charged and stops the truck is also stamped on the truck :)

Exactly, it will be interesting to see how well the system works out on the open roads which will probably be poorly maintained, in challenging weather conditions, in real life traffic and with a real load. Will the system still be able to cope with all these factors, and not just on a closed track with an empty load and no real life traffic

"the truck was not loaded" it's not the same like in a real situation" bla bla bla. in contrast to the other truck manufacturer mercedes has such a system, which can be very useful. even if the truck is loaded.

Nope they're not ... Horn is damn loud and the tone specific to Trucks,,,you hear the horn look around and maybe move over for a better change of avoidence,where the lights don't do anything if you're not checking the rear view mirrors

I want to see the video of the truck hitting the car. It hit a car driving a 26,000lbs propane truck going 35 mph. They live but the brand new Volvo was total. They ran a red light and I knock the shit out of it. They tried to sue saying I should have slowed down going through a green light. WP!
