It's great to have a believing family around you. We tend to think of the church in the construct described in the new testament - qualified elders (or pastors) were appointed to lead each church, and they worship and do mission together. In most cases biological families would be better served as part of a local church rather than trying to be a church themselves. This is a much deeper discussion than we can address here, but an important one for another time.
