Great video. This is important. There are many costs involved in selling your cards, but as you said, the most valuable asset is time. It’s takes time to ship cards even with your systems down pat. I’d like to add Speed to the list, as in, speed to cash (or credit) in hand. Why? Just because you list your cards, does NOT mean they will sell! Even when you are TCG low and keep pushing TCG low even lower. Speed to value is another huge benefit of buylisting.

Appreciate this. It requires some time to figure out where to get the most for your time, but it's a good reminder to check. For example a lot of Karlov cards are now at or above TCG market price - then you subtract all fees etc.

Value of ones collection is as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Which is always less than ths owner of said collection. To people that collect and dont sell, to them their collections are priceless. Just like MSRP which doesnt exist in magic. Same can be said for value of a collection. Whatever someone will pay for it.

But who sets the price of the BUY LIST? Are prices standard for every big store or independent to each other? That is why I check on third party's.

This also assumes all your buylisted cards are NM. Those stores are looking for any reason to call them LP or MP. Selling yourself gives you the chance to sell a lower condition card closer to "actual" value, IMO.

Only issue is cardkingdom is super picky on grading and will ding you for literally anything. They offer you great prices on their storefront and ding the frick out of you when the cards arrive.

It is OK advise for newer cards, but then you watch ebay prices for English P3K and nm Alpha and go 'Why did that go for 30% more than the listed base price?' (Summer Magic, 4th Edition alternate, certain 4 Horsemen cards, etc. fit this criteria as well).
