why people come to eve online: because its THE MMO where players have the most agency. Where ingame player relations influence who owns what territory, where every bullet you shoot has likely been made by another player from ressources mined by yet another player. A game where scamming someone out of his in-game goods and robbing your corp are perfectly legitimate ways to play (literally as long as nothing IRL gets involved and no actual hacking happens, the devs consider it a part of gameplay), making players you can trust feel that much more special. Hell, I'd say sitting in Jita (the biggest player market in the game) and looking at the local chat for a few minutes is a great way to inoculate yourself against all types of scams, as its pretty much all one can see in here. Its an MMO with stakes, where every time you undock comes with the risk of losing everything you just sent into space. in seconds because you werent careful enough. A game where wars have an actual impact since destroyed ships dont just respawn out of thin air, good as new like they do in other games. Its the wild west in space, and thats what makes it special. and lastly, its a great game if you want one where you can invest a lot of your time: there is so much complexity and so many activities you can dedicate yourself too that its very possible to be a veteran of several years and yet still feel like a complete newbie. As for the game being imperialism: kinda. The game is separated in 4 main zones: highsec, where unjustified agression is punished with death to NPC cops and where group PvE activities like the very lucrative incursions are usually run as its safer here, lowsec where territory cannot be held without CONSTANT military operations meaning people here tend to be in small scale, but highly skilled groups since they have to fight constantly to own anything, nullsec where those massive wars happen and players can make stable empires, and being where the big organizations flourish and where things are the most organized, and lastly wormhole space wich is the most dangerous space to live in as local chat will never tell you if you are safe or not, and the ways in and out of this space as well as its layout shift constantly. So its not all imperialism in space, but imperialismin space is what ends up in the news :p Nothign stops you from taking a small, slippery ship, and going on to raid the space of those big empires alone for kills if you wish so, trying to outrun the player-run response fleet and trying to avoid their intel to catch players before they can get to safety. and yes I have been into one of these giant wars myself as both a subcapital (cruiser, the main pawn in those wars) and a capital ship (carrier) pilot, and how did it happens? You join a small highsec group as a newbie, that then gets a bit bigger and decides to move on to lowsec, and then manages to strike a deal with one of those huge alliances and ove to nullsec with you alongside them, until a big war happens and you are now part of it. You just followed mostly the same people as a group over the span of years, learnign the game and gaining assets all the while, and thats where you eventually end up, though at any point you can always decide to go do something else. For exemple in my case after the war I didnt play for a few years, and decided to put my "pet project" ship skills to use by running incursions in highsec, sellign most of my old assets like my carrier that i have no use for anymore (i would just lose it if i tried to use it alone) and using the money to buy a very powerful battleship with expensive modules for a high end PvE group activity that generates a LOT of money... so that I might one day sit in a dreadnought and throw it on a probable one-way trip into nullsec and hope I get to try and take on a small fleet on my lonesome, for no other reason that I like the idea of being a "boss fight" against other players (and as the pinnacle of me coming up with pet project ship loadouts that try to be the best solo ships possible reasonable cost be damnesd that sadly never get a good use)

Regarding the playerbase: It's seasonal. Because EVE is the kind of game it is, with no alternatives existing, really, there's always a dedicated playerbase. I should note that even during the offseason, there are more than enough players to make the game feel alive. But the game *is* seasonal in the sense that the playerbase swells every autumn and ebbs every summer, by about a factor of eight. It can get ridiculously busy in winter, and deceptively calm in the summer. We're currently *just* in the autumn upswing.
@sovijus
@sovijus 4 ай бұрын
Ok i kinda feel you are exaggerating quite a bit here, player numbers never fluctuate by a factor of eight. In fact, they don't even fluctuate by a factor of two. We do have access to active player numbers since the beggining of the game back in 2003. You are right that player numbers fluctuate seasonally, but EVE has been losing players since 2012. Slowly but steadily. Concurrent player accounts online nowadays barely reach half of what they used to be in 2012-13. Even then the reality might be even worse than just the numbers would suggest, since multiboxing became so much more common these days than it used to be. I play single account and have been ever since 2007 and I feel like I am in a minority now, since it feels like everybody and their mother is multiboxing in the game when I look around.
@eleeyah4757
@eleeyah4757 4 ай бұрын
@@sovijus Maybe - I've seen those swings that big more than once, though. But that might just be a coincidence between expansion releases and seasons. And considering the number of complaints about multi-boxing, and that the multiboxers who comment on those are always the same names, I'm actually *not* sure that there are that many dedicated multiboxers. Remember that your brain's going to notice the stuff that you don't like far more acutely than the stuff that doesn't bother you. XD

I started playing EVE back in like 2010, and I only played it seriously as my main MMO from about 2013 to 2018, which is when I quit the game for good and have never gone back. This game can hands down be the most cold hearted and evil games you could ever imagine. I was part of Test Alliance, and I have seen thing as jerkish as people sitting in cloaked ships and camping newbies who are just trying to get out of the starting zone for a certain race all the way up to something as menacing and mechanical as multiple spies from opposing alliances infiltrate your alliance for literal YEARS just so that they can sabotage your corp from the inside so that they can take control of the area that you currently control. The things that this game does to people make you understand why people say that there are no winning sides in war.

Notes While Watching: 2:47 - EVERY online is a simulated economy where economic theory is tested for the entertainment of its inhabitants including every step of the process from raw material extraction, consolidation of materials for production of goods and commodities, to their destroying firework flowers all over the skies. 12:57 - That is a screenshot of, I believe Dotlan, a website that makes a “simplified” version of the “world”(read: space) map. Think of it like the connections between zones showing how zones that are physically next to each other are connected. 19:50 - Fun fact, some Corp(read:guild) applications are basically employee interviews. If you can spin it correctly, you may be able to use some game experience for your real life resume. 35:06 - “Fly Reckless! Because flying safe is just no damn fun!” Some random video recommendations are the “This is EVE” trailer, and possibly the 3 part series by Economics Explained. Rooks and Kings might also have some interesting videos, but might be lacking context.

Sometimes, you know you're in a war because everyone is stoked about it. Three months after I made my first character (I have six now), a major war broke out, WWB2. I was, and still am, with Pandemic Horde and we joined the fight early grinding through Fountain owned by Goonswarm pets Initiative. Everyone knew the war would break out exactly when it did because the impetus for the war breaking out was TEST stating they were letting the non-invasion pact with the Imperium expire on July 5, 2020. When this was happening, Eve hadn't had a good war in four years since WWBee ended, and Horde was joining primarily out of boredom. But I do remember as everyone was moving their stuff into Hophib, I joined a pre-war pep talk by alphastarpilot where he said that he knows this is a grudge match for a lot of people, and he admitted it kinda was for him as well. That war would go on to set Guinness World Records at the Battle of the Fury Road in FWST-8, and I probably wouldn't have stuck with it if I hadn't had that as my introduction to the game. Good times, man.

23:00 "You're just a pawn." - usually, the corps have extensive reimbursement plans. Entire divisions of producers, traders, haulers, etc., that focus on manufacturing the ships and tools everyone needs. It's paid for through taxes, mostly. Every player who makes a profit automatically pays a tax to the corp, which turns that money into more money via trading and speculation, which is then used in a variety of ways to manufacture and source stuff to blow up for every player. Managerial and administrative skill is a very, very real thing in EVE. Often the corps will also have some kind of arbitrary currency system that determines what level of these reimbursement plans you can access. Newer players may not get to pilot the big ships until they've thoroughly proven themselves, etc.

Being a former Goon (I left for deep WH space) I have to say I was proud to be in the Goonswarm Alliance. I fought on the side of PAPI during WWBee (AKA Beeitnam), and I was there when I saw PGL (ProGod Legend) and other senior leaders jump their capitals out of 1DQ, I felt betrayed. I decided that was when I would become a Goon. It was not for another 2+ years but I finally found a corp that I liked and joined to be in Goons. Goons are no longer the trolls of EVE. Under Asher, the leadership has been reformed and I feel they are one of the best ran Alliances/Coalitions, and one that fosters pride. Even though I am a "Scary WHer" now (TY Mark Resurrectus errr CCP Jotun) and I swore to my former Goonmates that I will punch them in the face on grid, I am still proud of them. IF I ever decide to be a NSer again, it will be Goons where I will return too.

Been playing EVE for about a year and a half. The strangest thing for a player of MMOs to wrap my head around was that you never see your character. You are always in a ship. Even when you are not in a ship you are in a ship. Once you wrap your head around that, everything is very familiar. You have zones, just like EverQuest, you have powers that feel like Shadowbane. The skill system is pretty intuitive. There is an app you can put on your phone and just watch your skills go up over days and months, I have spent most of my time interacting with EVE on this app.

Couple things to add here. In those huge fights, losing a ship is nothing. Those alliances have their own ship reimbursement programs, so if you lose a ship in a fleetfight you will get it back. This is how they encourage players to show up in these fights. I remember going to work at 8am and Setting the alarm for 2am for a CTA ( Call To Arms ). Those charts you were looking at were not trade routes, they are system connections. There are about 8k star systems in EVE Online and to get from one to the next one you use space gates to travel between. Now obviously there will be no gates between far system so to get from point A to B you have to fly through a series of systems. Some systems are strategically more important than others. Systems with a lot of connections ( 4-7 gates systems called hubs ) or systems that connects neighboring regions. Capital ships have their own jump drive with a limited range and supercapitals ( Titans ) can jump (its call jumpbridge ) entire fleets straight into combat. The defending forces have major advantages because they have the benefit of the infrastructure in region like jump bridges that are station modules allowing them to jump to another station in the JD network so they can move fleets around very quickly. Ther are no instances in EVE, everyone is in the same universe, no different servers, anyone can interact with any other player if they are at the same spot. Now this places a huge load on the server infrastructure if you have several thousand players in the same system but CCP tends to be on top of things nowadays and they allocate more hardware to those systems to make sure they infrastructure holds. The metagame around EVE is insane, there are people embedded in other alliances as double agents, providing intel, sabotaging stuff, outright shutting stuff down and stealing assets. Hacking forums of alliances are very common and everyone accepts that this is just part of the game. EVE Online is an absolutely amazing and thrilling social experiment and a great game to play with a group of others. In solo its not that fun, you can literally lose a couple a ship that you worked for weeks in a span of a few seconds. I would recommend 2 vids to watch: 1. is the best trailer this game ever got, its called : This is EVE Uncensored 2. is a long vid of a very small group but very skilled players taking on these huge alliances called : Clarion Call 4 Also if you like to read I highly recommend the book : Empires of Eve by Andrew Groen. An absolutely amazing read with interviews and very thorough research telling the story of the EvE online wars from before the game was even released ( beta phase ). I read it once a year, really good stuff. The best way to start out EVE alone is to join the corporation called EVE University. It's a player organization with the sole purpose to train newbros, help them get their footing in the game, explain game mechanics let that be combat, industrial, exploration, trading, etc... Great people wanting to help others in their free time.

"Is this game huge?" Sort of, but also, not really. It's a niche game, and CCP knows to cater to that niche specifically. They do not attempt to broaden the appeal to a larger audience. That does mean that EVE Online will never be a World of Warcraft, but it also means that EVE is always going to be a very good, high-quality game to play if it suits your needs. You know, that opposite of "a game for everyone is a game for no one." EVE's never going to be a game for everyone, and if it tried, it'd probably crash and burn. Which CCP is exceedingly aware of, considering that they haven't attempted to change that niche DNA even once.

Eve Online is like a Rubik's Cube - a seemingly impossible enigma with a huge reputation behind it. Playing Eve for the first time is in ways similar to picking up a Rubik's Cube for the first time. But also, once you really get a sense for how deep the deep end is, you realize that other people have done this before. There are different strategies for solving a Rubik's Cube and there are many guides online for how to do different activities in Eve. So, you can take a larger problem that you need to solve and break it down into smaller, actionable steps. With a Rubik's Cube, the goal is pretty obvious - solve it. But since Eve is a game where you can do literally anything, you need to find and set a goal for yourself; a goal that you can then treat as its own puzzle, then break it up into smaller pieces and solve those pieces one by one until you accomplish that goal. Once you've done that, you need to remember to set another goal for yourself, because Eve definitely isn't the kind of game that sets goals for you. Good luck and fly safe!

The thing about eve is, there are two ways to play it- "For real" and "Casually". It's fine to be a casual, playing with friends, doing your thing. Perhaps as a carebear doing highsec mining and industry, running lvl 4 missions or doing exploration. Even running skrimish pvp or griefing. it's fine and you find your level of playing. Then you can play it "for real". Basing most of your life around eve, doing alarmclock operationa in the middle of the night, skipping holydays with the family because during christmas those less dedicated will be doing stuff in something called "IRL" and you will be able to accomplish so much during those days they are offline. The ponly problem is that once you play it "for real", it will be very hard to find something as fullfilling as eve was. It's like when you were on a team and everybody pushed each other to get better, you fought, won and lost together. One clear goal and everyone working togeter toward it. I am still gettin gomega for a couple of months here and there, but I know I do not have the time to invest into the game to play it "for real" again, so I am just mocking around in high sec now, doing a bit of this and a bit of that, and then I leave it because I do not get the same return of invested time as I used to get. So, before beginning to play eve, take a few minutes to think about how much of your life you are willing to invest, and then adapt your expectations after that. As long as you know what to expect, you will have a lovely time in eve. If you are fine to play casually, there are so much to do and experience, but perhaps you will not be in a situation where you can be the lynchpin that disbands the biggest and most powerful alliance in the game with a click on the mouse and causes a complete overhaul of where people live in the universe. Be the reason why half of eve just up and leave their home withing 12 hours and move across the universe to evict the evil that was Bob and create a new home in Period Basis.

Played for around 20 years now. While you have a few misconceptions about the game, seeing the awe on your face reminds me of exactly why I started back then. The reason I got into it was the word "Sandbox". That it was so fluid. You weren't tethered to a linear story, and could just go do whatever you wanted, and that your actions could change the universe itself! If you have any questions, ask away, and us Eve players would be happy to answer!

I played EvE for the better part of 10 years and quit shortly after the events in this video, I was a part of the NC. Alliance on the losing side of the Battle of B-R5RB. I've played on and off since then but the hours that the game required were not possible anymore with starting college and then working after. You mentioned at one point "how do people get into this game?" Originally, the main draw for a lot of people was the lack of other MMO options in an expanding market, in 2003 when EvE was released, Runescape, EQ, and Anarchy Online were among the big hitters. EvE's release with a good blend of Social interactions, PvE, and PvP on a global game scale brought something the other games were lacking. This paired with the sophistication, complexity, and planning behind EvE's resource and industry gathering/distribution attracted an older and (depending on your corp(guild)) many times a more mature player base who found the planning and strategy even behind afk mining and building, fun and intriguing. These days, most players are those who continue to play from EvE’s prime time and are returning players checking out a new patch or coming back for nostalgia. I return to EvE 6-12 months and have tried a few times starting new characters to experience the game from the ground up again without friends to bankroll or spending irl money to boost skill points getting started is extremely hard. Most of the new people you meet in the various newbie, help, and recruitment chats were told about it by friends and are trying to work their way up to join them in null space but struggle, most end up dropping out after a few weeks of playing. Another point on the player base is this is a very “alt account-required” game. With various areas, even safe zones, being dangerous due to wars and ingame character standing with police forces able to be lowered to the point of being shot in a PvP safe areas, having multiple accounts is needed. Also, once getting the the era of super capitals (Titans and Super Carriers) a character cannot leave that ship and use others without leaving it floating in space somewhere. Due to all this, it's not uncommon for a PvP-focused player to have 2-3 paid accounts minimum. There are instances of mining and industry-focused players owning whole fleets of 15+ accounts. Anyway, good video enjoyed revisiting EvE from the perspective of someone not too familiar with it. Keep it up!

As someone who plays EVE Online, it's fascinating to drag myself out of the System I call home and see the game as others might see it, for the first time. Yes, it's complex and harsh, but we have our carebears, too. Your video concentrates on Null Security space ('Nullsec'), which always garners the media spotlight, but there are other areas, too, and they have no wars at all - but plenty of killing! Trade is a big thing, as are resource harvesting and PvE. But EVE can be nasty. Scamming, taunting, betrayal, ganking, theft - it's all there. There are two sayings beloved of EVE players: 'Don't fly what you can't afford to lose' and 'Trust no-one'. Very, very good advice!

Ah, the Fountain War. I was there on the side of TEST. EVE is an interesting game. If you want to just log in and shoot stuff, it requires very little knowledge about the game. Knowing the Basics about the movement mechanics and copying some build your corporation tells you to use will get you basically the whole way there. You can be meaningfully contributing in a day or two. But if you want to get more into it, there'a basically no limit to how deep the rabbit hole goes. Every aspect lf the game can be broken down into smaller more complicated parts. and those parts can be broken down into larger, more complicated spreadsheets.

Ahh my dude, your reaction pretty much matched mine back in 2009 when I was finding out about the betrayal of Bob, and the following conquest of their space by Goons! Fair to say, there's an old meme about Eve's learning curve (look it up) which is not quite as true today as it was back then, but it's not far off. For more funnies, you should do a back to back of the This Is Eve trailer, followed by the This Is Really Eve trailer. Pretty much sums up how it looks vs how it can be! Then you should totally start playing, and just have fun with it!

If you wanna just go shoot stuff you can, if you wanna just go mine space rocks you can, if you wanna just explore the universe you can, and understanding the game comes naturally as a consequence of the activity you do

No one so far has mentioned how skill training works in Eve....it's not like levelling elsewhere. From the overview of Skill in the Eve University wiki: Skills are a significant part of what defines a character and what they can do. If you want to fly a ship, use modules on that ship, mine, trade, and so much more, you will need to have trained specific skills for that. Additionally, training skills improve your performance (your ships will fly faster, your guns will do more damage, you will pay lower taxes, and so on). Some skills affect multiple areas of the game, but most are specialized. This has two major effects: It does not take too much time to become proficient in one area of the game (say, flying missile frigates), as a finite number of skills improve your performance in that particular area. This also means that young characters (who have not been playing for as long) can quickly "catch up" to older characters in specific areas of the game. Conversely, it takes much more time to become proficient in many (or even all) areas of the game; training every skill in the game to the maximum level would take around two decades of continuous training. In other words, older characters will be proficient in more areas of the game when compared with younger characters. Fortunately, skills are cumulative, and once you have invested time (skill points) into a skill you will never lose them (unless you choose to extract them using a Skill Extractor). This means that you can continuously improve your character's proficiency in one or several areas of the game, depending on your goals. The unique skill system of EVE Online allows you to train skills in real time, even when logged off. You should always have a skill in training. As of 10 July 2023 there were 466 different skills in EVE, with a total of 2,211x training time multiplier, and a total of 566,016,000 skill points. Every Omega.png Omega clone character can potentially learn every skill, but it would take over 23 years of skill training even with 32 points at all attributes, or 3,462 Large Skill Injectors, to achieve.

hey dude thanks for covering Eve! Been playing for 5 years, was the only MMO i could ever get into. Absolutely LOVE this game. Its not all that complicated once you start and get the hang of things. It can be as complicated and sophisticated as you want it to be. If you just wnat to be a casual player you totally can. Give it a shot! Ive been playing video games for 36 years. Hands down this is the BEST if not top 2-3 games I have ever played in my life. But the best part of Eve is the social aspect in all honesty and thats because Eve isnt a game. Its a hobby. Its a social club with spaceships in it. Thats the best way I can explain it really. Its more than just a game, you can just be hanging out on discord shootin the shit with people. And truly amazing when the people you meet along the way can often become great long time friends from all over the world. Every year CCP games does a fanfest @ their HQ in Iceland and thousands of players from all over the world come to hang out as a collective. Its truly amazing and I'm happy I became a part of such a great community within gaming. My only regret is that I didnt start playing sooner.

I think one thing that people underestimate or don't appreciate about a game like EVE and ehy it can be so prolific despite it being so niche is that it allows for and is designed around "down time activity". Time to reflect, chronicle, actually digest events, etc on top of it not at all being a hand held grind so any experience is real experience in the game i think makes for an experience worth taking record of. Especially when you consider the many layers of investment or not you can engage in. Hardcore players and casuals are in the mix together, and it is not guaranteed the hardcore will win (though it is all but guaranteed they have the advantages and assets to recover form loss comparably). There isn't really a power discrepancy individual to individual that cannot be defeated with knowledge and skill and luck. Anyhow, primary point was that being able to digest events with tangible meaning that are not just the ride or grind of the game is a boon for EVE and other MMOs could learn a lot from it. Note that you do not see people recountung the storylines and arcs the game provides itself. Fun or lucrative or whatever, they are not the game. No one comes go EVE to play the pre canned story. People don't talk about what the Amar Empire is doing ... They want to know what TEST is up to.

You're watching a video regarding a region of space that is similar to the furthest reaches of space where imperialism is employed on a larger scale. Imagine piracy in the 1600's. The video you just watched is the equivalent of the large fleets in Asia (but in this region "Players" are in control) In Europe four main colonial powers, are the main storyline in Eve. They are similar to the Spanish, English Dutch and French (Gallente, Minmater, Amarr, Caldari) fighting for the Caribbean and also in coastal European waters. This is where you begin as a new player. Now imagine if there was a UN in the 1600's and these policing fleets sail European waters and if any pirate attacks another pirate, they appear and kill the attacker. They don't protect you. They avenge you but only in European waters. Sometimes they save your ass, sometimes they don't, but no matter what 100% the pirate attacking you will die. (This is High sec Concord police Patrolled) The Caribbean meanwhile is like Low sec. It's lawless. There is no UN Concord police here to protect you. Just like the outer regions - it's dangerous with far more dangerous NPC ships as well. Lastly, there is a region of space that is like falling into a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. This is Wormhole space. You can live in wormhole space, popping in an out to the other regions through Wormholes. Lastly, there's a region of space that is like wormhole space on steroids. You need a special portal opener known as a filament to get to this region. This is Pochoven where NPC fleets fight each other in their own little mini eve universe. You can live here too. But everything factors back to highsec because that's where the main tradehub of the game is located. Jita 4-4 does more trade transactions than all other hubs in the game combined. This is where you trade stuff for liquid cash. And the goal of liquid cash is paramount to whatever you want to do in eve whether it be mining, trading, production, exploration, PVP, PVE, Faction war, Incursions or joining a corp to fight in fleet wars. Hope that explains it.

This is the most amazing thing you can do with internet. There are countless things to learn and infinite levels to each thing. I'm almost a whole year in and still new. I have become completely in thrulled and it only gets better. I played solo for the first 8 months and learned how to ship, produce T1 ships and modules, and how to fly through lowsec and nullsec. That was the moment I found that 80% of the enjoyment comes from the people you fly with. Joining a good corp and learning from experienced players was far more rewarding than anything I could do solo. I learned this after I became rich and tried most things. I could gain access to. Play it and when you get to the point where you want to give up, don't. That's when you earn the first gift eve has to give. There are countless more, but the only way to lose eve, is to not play eve.

So if you get into Eve, you must understand that getting to those politic level stuff takes years of gameplay. Everything in this video is happening in the space of Eve called NullSec - basically 0 protection, player goverened space where structures such as stations are player built and owned - this space is disputed between aliances. There is also LowSec - NPC goverened space, but not policed, where it's basically free for all, but the structures in each solar system are NPC owned. And there is HighSec - theoretically safe space but not really. In High Sec if you attack a player or steal his loot, you become a criminal, and NPC police will come after you, also other players are allowed to kill you once you are a criminal. Criminal status is lost upon death. But that's the thing - it's not really safe there either, because for example if you are in an undefended transport ship transporting valubles, another player/group of players with cheap ships might gank you and kill you before the police spawns in. At that point a member of the ganking group that kept away from the fight, comes in and loot's your shit. There is a shit ton to learn about weapons, ships, combinations of fits for the ships, industry, missions, strategies, good practices for safe flying and so on. And you are completely exposed to all that day one. Oh and I forgot to mention, there is the Wormhole space. Which is basically a set of systems (they are static and limited), but the connections between those systems and also the known space systems are temporary and random, and need to be charted continously. In the wormhole space comms are off, so you can't see if there are other players in the same system with you, so you need to rely on constant scanning so you won't get ganked. It is overwhelming. I personally play it on and off, and when I play it I mostly do solo stuff for a month or two, grinding to pay for the subscription with in game currency.

Really cool to see you react to this video of EVE. I can imagine how confusing it is. I came from playing decades of MMORPG to EVE and it was a huge paradigm shift. This particular video shows mainly null-sec politics. But there is much more to the game; there are dozens of pathways with things to do. And yes, unlike other more traditional MMO's, you are never safe. And you can lose stuff. But unlike an MMO you don't have a single character with all your best things on it. You can have dozens of ships and pick the right one for the job. Did you know this game has an actual Monthly Economic Report? And an annual Alliance Tournament which is streamed on Twitch (October 2024 is the main event) and that there are real life meetups all over the world which are supported by CCP with devs and they are actually interested in what players have to say there.
