yakuza 0 x learn japanese from zero! crossover??? DREAM COME TRUE WHAT
@JustIzzan4 ай бұрын
I like that the episodes get better and better from a learning perspective (quality wise). Keep going like that and I will stick around for sure. Also I fkn love this game, but I personally prefer the Ichiban games (Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Infinite Wealth). If there is a chance someday you play these (starting from Yakuza like a Dragon) it would make me very happy. The Ichiban games are turn based, maybe that is something you will like more, anyway back to the video for me lol PS: thanks for the 3 months on fromzero ;)

飲み明かす you can guess with the kanji for drink (飲む)and 明かす means "though the night (until morning)"

I don't know if you found out but to answer your question at 6:30, the things in brackets are what he's thinking, the ones without are him saying it

YAAAAS. The cute Japanese girl telling her father to get up and cook got me my fix until this third yakuza episode.

Learning Japanese through a game is the best, you should do this more often!

21:22 its like "not worth talking about". so he's saying don't be (so pathetic/weak/cowardly) that you arent even worth talking about 35:10 i was happy cause i knew tokuchou easy peasy lemon squeezy, and in your explanation of why you might have missed it, it kinda hit the nail on the head. i DO read a lot of japanese. its really the main thing i do, specifically ive read lots of articles about types of people or about places, so ive seen tokuchou EVERYWHERE. i am fully fluent in tokuchou thanks to my articles lol

Ok i think i need to install this type of games for practice once i start learning kanji on b3 Tips to improve your learning japanese gaming: try to walk with the mouse on the words and read it THEN explain what it means so people who trying to learn reading understand which word u reading now so walk with the crosser mouse

My mouse unfortunately doesn't show up with the way it's streamed in OBS. Right now, the PS4 is displaying on my screen as a projection so my head isn't in the shot. Then you got the search overlay that pops in. I'm guessing if I can find a way to use main screen for the game and then capture that with OBS it would work. I'll see what I can do but I don't have expectations of it working honestly.

That's actually for you to do anyway. Channels like Gamegengo are fun to watch but the hand holding doesn't get you very far if you're serious about getting fluent. People should actively be looking out for te form, past tense, conditionals etc while doing anything in Japanes on their own

50:25 the EN subs have a joke there Bacchus: He's a whatchacallit...a fisting artist! Kiryu: Whoa...that's not really my scene... Kamoji No! I'm a punch-out artist Then it goes on to explain how Kamoji has people pay a fee and try to punch him (winning money if they do...losing if they don't) Kiryu says 'is that some kind of new S&M thing?' Then Kamoji says no and tells him where to meet him for Kiryu to try it himself...Kamoji appears at the location given periodically as the story progresses for Kiryu to learn new Rush style skills. Bacchus then tries to convince Kiryu into becoming a pro-fighter...eventually he gives up for the time being...and the scene ends.

So we gain something in the translation. Interesting.
