Hello, I'm an aspiring Actuary and I have a question regarding the "effectiveness" of these videos. For one aiming to take the Exam P: Probability, are these videos advanced enough or simply instructional videos for less complicated problems for beginners? I simply wish to know before I devote time and effort to something which appears to be great, but is not ideal for high level actuarial self-study. Thank you!

The lessons are not simply on less complicated topics. Actually, some of the lessons cover topics in more depth than the SOA outlines. That said, the videos don't cover the complete set of topics for the exams yet. And they do not include practice problems (which are crucial components of studying for these exams). I encourage you to use our lessons on top a study guide or textbook recommended by the actuarial organization.

I don't understand how the probability of B {5, 6} in dice set is 2/6. Isn't the probability much smaller because there more than 6 combinations?

Not Sure About the age, but It's best if you finish College with 2 Exams passed, which are Exam FM and P. Therefore its best if you take it before you graduate!
