Hi Nicholas. I love your videos so much I tried to send you a large bag of M&Ms...and it came back to me with the note that your above address is invalid. Is there a better address? I sent you the M&M but also a question I would like your perspective on. Thank you, Kathy

@@katherineconway1418 Huh, that's weird. Maybe it was too big for my mailbox? I would have thought they would at least send me a notification. I've been trying to eat healthier lately, so I probably don't need M&M's anyway. But you can email me a question.

Nicholas, LI19 and LI20 both cross to the opposite side of the body or just LI20 cross to the other side?
@tcmstudy3 жыл бұрын
Most of my textbooks have pictures of LI19 and LI20 crossing to the other side. However, I have seen some drawings of LI19 on the same side, then LI20 on the other side. So I'm not sure. But honestly, I don't think it matters too much.

If one gets their large intestine removed, what happens to the channel? Where the does the chi that was in the channel go to?
@dilettanter4 жыл бұрын
Good question -
@tcmstudy4 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting question. Most people ask it in terms of the gallbladder, since getting your gallbladder removed is fairly common. I don't know if there are any classical statements that deal with this issue, but most people I've talked to believe that there is an energetic system that exists beyond the physical tissue of the organ. So even if the gallbladder is removed, the Foot Shao Yang channel still exists. And I think some would say that even if the physical tissue is removed, the "office of magistrate that issues decision-making" still exists on an energetic level. I'll have to check in Wang Ju-Yi; I feel like he mentions something about this in there.
@lorit.60954 жыл бұрын
@@tcmstudy If you find an answer to that would you post it? I would think that if an organ is removed the flow of chi would have to remain active since the channels make connections and etc., if the chi stopped flowing along the channel wouldn't that affect the tissue along its path?
@TheLamgo3 жыл бұрын
@@lorit.6095 This is an old comment but here is a article explaining why the body's energetic system remains active even after an organ is removed chinesefootreflexology.com/organ/
