Acura claims they don't no what's wrong

I'm wanting to get a 2010-2014 Acura TL with a manual transmission which is only available as SH-AWD. I'm thinking of going a bit older because there are too many failure points. I hear the 3.7 in them is prone to oil consumption.

You are correct. The manual transmission is only available in the problematic 3.7. I bought an 2008 TL Type S 6 speed with the 3.5. In my opinion, they are nicer body styles. Good luck.

Same happened to me took car to get fixed it got delayed and 2 weeks got a call from sales. Said no thanks and in another 2 weeks picked up my car they could not fix it unless they re-built transmission.

Do these issues happen with 2020 to 2025 Ridgeline? I am hearing Ridgeline and HYBRID 2.0 CRV are two good buys from Honda for Modern vehicles. I LOVED my older 2002 Honda, wish I had kept that. Currently running a 2018 Toyota. Ugh, so many more things to go wrong on current vehicles.

@@anthonynastasi4098 So I am NOT buying now, but for future reference, what would you pick either a Toyota Tacoma Turbo 2.4 OR a Honda Ridgeline 3.5 V6 ? Current two midsize trucks, which one do you like better?

I used to have a TLX 2020 and had this issue around 78,0000-80,000. Error code DTC U3000-49. Multipurpose camera unit failed and needs replacement. Super common with Honda/acura products. Other than that, the car was mechanically reliable.

That is so weird that the dealer just threw up their hands. I just don’t understand. It’d be interesting to take the vehicle to another dealer and see if they’d do the same thing.

@@EvzenKovar-i5p what i have is fuel level sender .purge valve maybe back up camera undiscovered at this point.
