Yep, my 2016 just had sway bar links replaced and yesterday the paint on the roof started peeling off. Luckily I’m still within the extended warranty period for paint so Acura will fix for free. I’m sure more to come as I co to use to drive this car… not happy with the quality 😡

I have a 2017 model with over 100,000 miles.Had to replace my front transfer case because it was making noise.Also replace my seat motor (seat wasn’t going up)

Just bought a 2018 in 2022, the transmission is horrible. I'm now finding out that there are lost of reports about this but no solution. I'm so disappointed!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear that. I was looking forward to buying an RDX but I’ve seen many videos with issues with this car 😢. I hope you have warranty or are able to resolve the transmission issue.

My husband said there is a reset they can do at the dealership. I'm gonna have that done next time I go.

I have the same issue. You might want to look at your battery first. If your battery is on its way out, there will be problems with the electronics. Since the MDX has a lot of electronics, it uses up your battery so much that it doesnt have enough juice for your automatic tranny electricals. Try upgrading to a higher quality car battery first and see how it goes.

So you'd rather pay 3 to 5 thousand dollars for a timing chain replacement, than pay 1,200 for a timing belt.

@@cameronbernard493 You typically don’t have to replace timing chains. My Lexus ES350 has 450k miles on the original timing chain and has 0 issues.

Reasons to NOT buy an Acura! Just buy a Toyota/Lexus and forget about repairs!! 210,000 miles on my 2016 Lexus ES 300h and not a single problem!!

175k on my 2014 MDX goes as strong as day 1. 2008 TL also beautiful at 160k miles. Next car will be new MDX :)

Bought a 2019 a spec. Broke down 4 times in the last 3 months. All the lights come on. Car dies. Gets towed to Acura. And breaks again in a week. Infotainment system is a fucking nightmare .... Won't connect o Bluetooth, you can't adjust your seat while in motion ...... Worst decision ever. First and last Honda I ever buy. Luxury? Nice try.
