I bought the harness in the above link for my 2014 acura mdx tls radio and added a subwoofer easy. It works! The factory amp was moved to the center console on the passenger side and i needed to unplug the anc module which was above the glove box. Thanks for making these videos.

Wow you’re a professional, I like your show . I have 2007 Acura Mdx with navy I would like to upgrade all speakers and 5 channels amplifier. I already have 2 set infinity kappa component and 5 channels amp and 10” Jl sub please show me what’s else I need for complete set and where can i buy . Thank you very much

It wouldn't hurt to set the aftermarket crossover to high pass at around 80hz if you are using a subwoofer. You don't want to much bass comming through the mids.

I have a 2007 mdx. And im looking at the connector on the wiring diagraham that goes to the subwoofer enclosure. None of those colors are on the connetor or diaphragm. Unless theyre labeled something else. The only wires going to the connector is. SW pre in -, WF pre -, wf pre +, B+. Which wires do i splice into if i want to tap the LOC directly from the sub? Do i have to take the subwoofer out the enclosure in order to tap into the signal?

Could I just hook a LOC up to the rear sub and take the RCAs to my aftermarket amplifier? I want to keep factory sub and add aftermarket amp and sub box

yes its just easier to hook up at the amp so you don't have to remove all that trim

Is that a safe place for the amps? Like for ventilation, so that it doesn’t overheat? Will they overheat there

You said if you the base model you only have 6 speaker. Mine has two extra treeters on the dash. I need a seven channel Amp for the speakers and plus another for the sub

What if you're using component speakers with an external crossover? Do you need tweeter signal?

the tweeter from the factory gets its signal from the FL output of the amp so its the same signal going to the door speaker and the tweeter. So you will already have it.

What amp can I use to replace the stock one in the 2006 MDX bose non navi. I'm planning to run a separate sub to a CAB 1600.1

you can use a 4 channel amp and our bypass harness or a 5 channel for the whole system

@@AcuraAudioGarage I also noticed that the stock Bose sub hits harder than my skar ma8 at volume 10. I have to turn up volume to around 20 to start hearing the skar but the stock sub still hits over the skar, any suggestion?

yes but they might cancel out so just run the aftermarket sub
