Since you can connect 4 speakers to this unit, you can just connect other 2 speakers with the stereo system. No need to do modifications with factory wirings.

In order to activate reverse camera you have to give 12V (from Reverse light) to to the back wire. To demonstrate it, I was connecting "Back" wire to the 12v power supply.

There may be a fault with your device . But the memory keeps with the battery power. Normally yellow big wire is the battery wire. It must be connected to the battery and even though the car is switched off, the head unit should be connected with the battery . Check that. Another option is, factory reset the unit. Yes, some devices are not with the option to cange colors .

Bougt 2 Android 13 Units from "CYA" (Name in Plattform Information) and cant find this Manufacturer anywhere. Reason: The MCU Firmware on both are Different, Android Versions are the same. The Sound on the one with the newer MCU Firmware is MUCH better in Meds then on the unit with lower Version Number - so i asked the Seller if there is a Place where i maybe can download the Updates to bring both Units on the same Page (One is in the Smart 541 of my Wife, one in the same Smart Modell of my Father in Law)... Maybe you have an Idea. First, It is not possible to enhance the quality of the sound by changing the firmware. It is depend on the sound IC, most of are TDA sound ICs with 55Wx4 channels. Those are coming with high quality sounds. (Did you check the quality of the speakers of your vehicle?). Yes, sometimes it is unable to find the manufacturer due to custom ROMs. The only way is, open the casing and check the mainboard. The motherboard surface is printed the brand (XYAUTO, YTD, etc).

This device is with a good fm module . Signal strength is also good. Chech the car fm antenna and the fm signals in your area. If the screen turned off when switching gears , there is an issue with wiring . Or check alternator , alternator belt and battery condition . There is no connection with car stereo and gear system .

It is most suitable to use the factory stereo as those are fit with the vehicle requirements. But some factory head units are not coming with backup camera, GPS etc. Then you have to go for a 3rd party head unit. If you purchase this, I can recommend the sound quality is very good like a branded head unit.

Use 12volts around 2A. Connect both Battery and ACC wire together and give positive 12V.

My head unit always stays on even when the key is off? So I have to push the power button on the screen to cut the head unit on or off every time I get in the vehicle What do you think the issue is?

This is sometimes with wiring issue. normally there are wires from battery and one from ACC. if both are connected to the battery wire, the unit will not off. Some devices are with option to keep on even after the key is off (if so you can change it). Or there may be an issue with your main board. you may check by disconnecting ACC wire from the device, if the unit works still, there is a issue with the board. then you can connect the both ACC and B+ wires with ACC wire. (this is the last option)

head unit red power wire needs to go to acc+ from ignition switch, then it will switch on/off with ignition key etc.

@@eyellpokeurboote Check that your car stereo system has the camera connector. Then the reverse camera option must be there. Most of reverse camera activation wire is pink. If you can send me a picture of the wires and backside of your car stereo. Then I can tell you more.

Screen black issue is sometimes due to burnt back light, burnt display or a issue with the board.
