@@Drive_CultureI did subscribe and I will continue to watch. Your review along with The Car Care Nut’s (mechanic) review helped me decide. I’ll let you know once I purchase. Have to find the color combo first as I’m going through a broker.

Great review! I watch a lot of car review videos and this was very well done. The on screen graphics were a nice touch. You missed the massaging seats and that the rear center seat can be stowed under the cargo tray. 😉 love the type-s products - power and reliability from Honda 😅

Thanks for the comment! Yes, totally agree! You’d be paying almost six figures to get the same stuff in a European competitor!

terrible value. worst hp in class worst mpg in class and resale value stinks

Love how the touchpad is gone. It served it's purpose but was kind of clunky.

How do you make 14” rotors look small? Put them in a 21” wheel 😮

Timing belt though...why? 😢

Chains stretch too. Guides break a lot. They both need to be replaced. Meh point.
@Drive_Culture5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Yes, it uses a timing belt like the rest of the other Acura models. The only recent model with a chain was the NSX!

@@lockheedloadChains do not stretch like a belt, chains do not have a replacement time/miles schedule.

@@blacksunshine489 An engine timing chain absolutely does stretch over time, which can lead to chain jump and blowing up your engine.
@t3h8ar0n4 ай бұрын
I would prefer a timing chain, but a timing belt is easily replaced and the engine will run slightly quieter with a belt as opposed to a chain.

what major updates? people asked for more performance more power and more mpg and they got bigger grills and speakers
@Drive_Culture3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Yeah the powertrain is unchanged, but still quick & fun to drive! The interior tech, touchscreen and Bang & Olufsen are nice changes too!

Still limited to 110mph 🙄. Can’t justify giving up my ‘24 type s.

Thanks for the comment & feedback! How fast are you trying to go!? 🤣 There’s a lot of great upgrades, but yeah… I’m not sure if I would tell someone to trade in a 1-year old car (in any case)!
@lockheedload5 ай бұрын
@@Drive_Culture Real talk, an older subaru outback pulled me on the highway the other day in my type s. Any car can if they go faster than 110 lol. The car is amazing and the '25 is even better. My '24 tanked in value stupid big, so it'd be financial suicide to trade it in on a new one that will tank again. Great video though, my friend!

Why didn't they add a timing chain instead of a belt come on acura do better
@Drive_Culture2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment & feedback! That would be a pretty big change for a mid-cycle refresh! What do you currently drive? Is a timing chain a must? Hope you subbed to come back for more!
