hey so im looking into getting a roof rack, i have a 03 rsx also, think you can help me out and understand it? im having a hard time getting what each part is or like how 'sets' work? and are the q clips the like base and what clamp to the frame of the car? and i think you said thats the hardest part to find right? My main reason for them would be for snowboarding/skiing. and if it permits, maybe look into getting a basket or something for when i go camping. i checked the links in your description also and i currently they are available. im trying to understand also if these are all universal or i have to stick with a particular brand. Any and every detail helps! thanks and wonderful video!

Unfortunately, due to how old this car is and just the fact that it was never intended to carry any kind of load, there is not a lot of options in terms of roof rack systems. I’ve even tried aftermarket brands that said it would be compatible and it was super sketch which is why I decided to just fork over the time and money to source the Yakima parts. As far as I have seen, the Q towers and Q83 clips is the only combination that is truly compatible with the RSX. I know some have tried Thule with modifications, but you’ll still have to source for some ancient parts. I had to ship mine from a dude on FB market from a completely different state and it still costed me close to $100 for the clips alone…I kept an eye on Craiglist, offerup, and FB market for months before I could gather each individual component to complete the roof rack 🥲
