I know zero about fixing cars, I'm just here to watch you enjoying life! 😊

I really do enjoy watching you fix cars. My dad was an engineer and mechanic in the British Army, and of course he always fixed our cars. I miss him explaining all of the doodads and bits and bobs, and you’ve filled that gap in my life, thank you ❤

You're welcome. Sounds like I'd better stick around in this life and keep creating videos for you then. OK! Paul.

Love to see you working with the cars. My father, grandfather, and uncle were mechanics. My brother and his son now have their own business working on cars. My sister inherited some mechanical abilities as well, but none for me lol. I do love to watch the car races here in the USA, especially the Daytona 500. Paul, it's just great to see you enjoying life. 🤗

The centre console lid of my husband`s Toyota Auris (2014) looks very, very ugly and my husband keeps complaining about it. I`m now quite confident I`ll manage to replace it by myself. (automotive skills = zero ;-)) Thank you 🙂

You absolutely can do it Bettina! Keep me updated! Paul.

wowwwwwzzza...That seemed doable even for a person like me who knows only how to drive a vehicle...I own a 2020 toyota camry.. sooo are the consoles the same basically!! Shout out from LAS VEGAS, NEVADA [USA]..... PLEASE COME & VISIT!! Incidentally--YOU look amazing--socially--mentally--and physically❤❤🎉 😊

Yes, that's the spirit. I want to show everyone that there are a lot of repairs that can be done with very minimal skills required. Changing a centre console lid is definitely one of them. Well done on buying a Toyota Camry by the way. They are one of the most reliable cars on the road. They aren't faultless, but they are far better than most.

Paul so happy your working on cars. I’m still going to chemo with my partner. My highlander blew up I’m devastated 🙋🏻♀️ I have enough on my mind
@PaulinPerth3 ай бұрын
Oh gosh! In Australia the Toyota Highlander is called the Toyota Kluger. They have a pretty good reputation here. Not perfect, but pretty good. Best of luck with the chemo. It's not easy. Paul.

Nice fix, man. I like replacing parts like this, but most times, I forget how I dismantled it in the first place, lol.

Ha, ha. That was rather fun, Paul. I had a MAF (mass air flow)sensor warning on my dash. Between UTube and my son-in-law, walking me through on the phone, it got repaired enough to get me 300 miles to said son-in-law and a proper replacement. I’m 84😅

hey paul, if you've worked on a large enough variety of cars would you entertain the idea of a video recommending and/or warning about models and years?

My opinions are broadly the same as Scotty Kilmer. www.youtube.com/@scottykilmer. His advice is solid. Toyota, Honda and Mazda for the win. Paul.

Good to see you so happily absorbed in this task, Paul. It's a bit of fun. Do I see you wearing boots? I would just cook here in canada we have 40C days, and humid, the dampness is unbearable. I'm off to have a look at your older seat belt fix video because my passenger side has lost it's bungee snap and just hangs there all sad. Thanks 🌼
