Nice stuff. That Forgotten Realms Campaign Set was the first D&D product I bought back in the day. Brings back good memories.

Thank you for watching. It’s certainly very nicely detailed for when it was released. The box sets felt like good value for money back then.

You're making me feel better about my own spending 😅 I got back into RPGs a few months ago and promptly bought Dark Sun 2e, Planescape 2e and several books and supplements. Kara Tur looks awesome. I always wanted that one.

I feel like if WotC actually did proper reprints of these, I would quickly need more book shelves...

If they did reprint these they’d cost $60-$100…….. but I’d still buy it again. 🤪

@Dndditches Right? The box set format brings back awesome memories, plus the way maps are included these days, if they even are, end up just being folded into the book... at one point in time I was attempting to get all of the sections of map for the Forgotten Realms... but my older brother stole all my 2e stuff a few decades ago...

@@slaapliedjeyeah the box format with the goodies was such a thrill it’s like opening Christmas presents everytime. There’s something charming about these old maps cuz it was built on a dream and a lot of imagination. Bummer about your FR books but I’d do the same…… lol jk but old books are irresistible. Maybe you can find cheap replacements from a garage sale somewhere.
