The Hellbound campaign was my intro to both 2nd ed. & Planescape. Subbed because of your pronunciation of Sigil.

@@Dndditches I'd almost reached a point where I was no longer playing; when I actually (read rarely) did get to play it was 1st ed. & usually a one-shot. The DM of the new group lent me the DM's Guide & let me use the custom class creator &, despite going in blind, I thought that was one of the greatest things ever. When I found I could get from anywhere to anywhere using the planes I was tickled & it changed how I approached the game as a DM. I still use the Great Ring when DM'ing. If you want to acquire something, if you know the right people, pretty much anything can be purchased if you have the jink. My first character (Mist) is still alive & a property-owner in Sigil. Her brothel/tavern/gambling hall (The Misty Tie) is now used regularly in campaigns. The Tie (as locals call it) is located conveniently in the Lower Ward. Look for the two trees bracketing the entrance. Mist is probably the longest-played & richest character I have ever played, although her power-level makes her pretty much an NPC at this point. The group was full of power-gamers (& a power-DM) & was so over-the-top that a couple of times people sat in with our group & later told us they had trouble playing in other groups, calling the other groups, "...less than...". As an edit/addendum, I discovered Planescape: Torment shortly after hooking up with this group. Good times.

I just got the original Planescape campaign serting box and it was pricey. Worth it though... That was the first setting I bought with my own money back when it first came out. I could not justify buying a reprint. I needed that original art.

Agreed wholeheartedly. It was the first setting I bought too. So many good memories.
