Wow awesome video. You helped me understand what they did! So the reason you would have one is simply for better audio quality in your studio?

is there a reason why u want to use the interface as the clock master? does it have better clocking system? what is the reason, or how do u choose which device to use as the clock master?

Great video! Thanks 👍 would love to see a demo on extending interface’s outputs through ADAT. In other words, using ADA8200 for extra outputs for the master interface. Thanks again for your videos, they are really unique 👌

To use the ADA8200 for outputs, you would connect the toslink cable from the interface output, and into the ADA8200 input. Word clock can be synced through the ADAT signal, or a word clock cable, it makes no difference which one is used. Thanks for the comment :)

Did you null test the recorded clone against the original? This might identify differences that are too small to hear, without having to do 400 recordings 😁. Also the difference in 48/96 is probably down to anti-alising right. If you keep re-recording that noise it will get to the point where it becomes audible, hence brightness you hear.

Hello. Amazing video, congratulations! I have the ferrofish pulse 16 ad/da converter and the audio interface antelope discrete 8 pro synergy core. Question 1: If I want to have the ferrofish permanently as the main converter for da/ad how should I connect the optical cables and the bnc (I have 4 optical cables connected at the moment and 2 bnc ports on each device) Question 2: Which machine has the best converters? Thank you very much for your answer.
