When they talk about 'taking your heart' they do't mean it metaphorically. Spamton actually wants to get your heart in game in order to be free (it's complicated)

A neat little thing I haven't seen much people pick up on is the "Moist, Delicious, Cookies' line. On the web, a Cookie is a file that a website uses to store personalized information, like preferences, personalized settings, usernames, etc. Any time you visit a website and it "already knows" who you are because you've been there before it's because of a Cookie file. This being interjected right as he was talking about tracking web search results is pretty great.

So you know, the "take your hear for free" was actually literal. After the protagonist helps Spamton get stronger, he gets power hungry and tries to take your soul as well, represented by a heart in game.

Spamton, is a unnerving character that was a businessman but ended up going insane after meeting the “knight” and seems to know he’s fictional (or at least he knows he has no free will) he is the secret boss of chapter 2 of deltarune, he also randomly has words that are like [this] and most of the time they seem to be ads that just come into his conversations without his permission (there’s a lot about his character but you should just play the game, both chapters are free on the switch in case you have one)

Might be, but in the game it's implied to be him having a flashback to a certain accident he got into after becoming desperate due to the loss if his success. It's likely not metaphorical and also not about fire.

A bit of background on Spamton. Deltarune's second chapter is largely situated in Cyber City, a computer-themed place. You've noticed the 4 other coloured Ad people singers talking about their Darkner guarantee, in the city section where you find Spamton, they're all shopkeeps with big stores and fancy storefronts but Spamton is found in a garbage can, in the back alley and his "store" is outside the main city, in a garbage dump and it shoddily constructed. Backstory on him: at one time Spamton was one of the Ad people but through bad luck or choices he just couldn't make a sale and when he was down, at the lowest point in his life at that time, he got a phone call, presumably from "Mike"(whom we never find out their true identity but there are hints), and he started making the big bucks. Everything he touched was successful. so much that in the back alley like at 9:29 you'll notice 2 posters around the garbage can, both are the "Queen #1" posters, but the one on the right clearly shows that the Queen poster was pasted on top of a Spamton one. this is a an in-game thing too. He was THE pitchman, THE ad guy at one point. But suddenly the voice he was speaking to stopped talking to him. Spamton fell lower then ever and couldn't make a single sale. He ran from his room in the Queen's castle before they could evict him, he lost all his posessions and is now living in a dumpster. And when someone checked the phone he was always talking in, all they heard was horrible noise on the line. One could arguably say that "Mike" could be analogous to insider trading or someone who's able to manipulate search and ad algorithms, able to feed Spamton information and products that are guaranteed sales or money makers, and without their help, Spamton just can't do it. Which leads us to the current Spamton, a broken pitch man with nothing really to sell trying his damned hardest to be relevant (to where Spamton's colours and style is basically a bargain bin version of ANOTHER character that's more popular in-universe, IE he's chasing a trend) in a quickly moving and uncaring world. Spamton is an old ad popup that jumps at you when you're surfing weird sites late at night and not paying attention, pitching broken image links and sending you to a sketchy online store that is desperate to stay relevant but simply unable to for various reasons. Depending on how you go about the game and how far you follow his side quests, his relevancy and story change pretty drastically. He's a tragic dude. As for the song itself, in addition to being a good representation of the chaotic mess that is Spamton, it's also chock full of references to not just the game, but musicals, plays, etc... It would take ages to break every little thing down, not just the source of the reference but how it relates to Spamton.

Fun bit on the "Kromer Key" thing: In-game, Spamton refers to the currency as "Kromer", and actually seems to eat it? No one else in the game does either of these things, they call them "Dark Dollars" if anything. It's just one more way that Spamton is...weird and "off".

Deltarune's story has your character enter a "Darkworld" where pretty mcuh everyone and everything is a sentient version of something in the room before it was turned into a parallel universe by magic. Chapter 2 has a computer lab from the local library be the area effected, which also caused things on the internet in general to be drawn in. Spamton is anthropomorphic adware. He is the spam box of your email where all the obvious scams, ads and virus infected bad attempts to hack your computer go. He's also the bonus boss of the chapter. His plotline suggests he used to be an actually effective salesman before going insane due to an encounter with the game's villain. Said insanity includes possibly being 4th wall aware, or at least aware of the plot that you haven't seen yet because of the fact that the game isn't even finished yet. He even references chapter 1's bonus boss (the "clown around town" aka Jevil, a joker card). "Mike" he keeps referring to may be a television, as the chapter ends with a cliffhanger of your character's living room becoming the next dungeon and the TV getting an evil looking face, as Spamton's ads are no longer on TV. Meanwhile, pretty much all oof his dialogue is like this. He seems to speak in nothing but advertisements and he very clearly is using a copy/paste email as the basis of his speech as every few words something is wrapped in brackets, like it was written to have a number of other sales pitches inserted. Everything he finally gets around to trying to say what he is selling or suggesting you pick up, he replaces it with [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]].

Makeup its CGI overlay clearly you can even see simulation kind of not doing things quite right but they kind of doing it on purpose and its based on the type of insane personalities in Undertale the game is insanely good and actually how you play changes the game and you can go through with killing nobdy in first one Deltarune sort of the same I think.
