I love how Bastille's music reflects Dan's great taste in movies/TV. On the two Other People's Heartache albums they've referenced/sampled Platoon, Requiem for a Dream, The Breakfast Club, American Beauty, Psycho, Full Metal Jacket, The Graduate, Donnie Darko, Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks and probably others I haven't noticed. Knowing Dan's obsession with Lynch, the Bad Blood cover is probably a reference to Lost Highway.

+Maddie Rubrake I actually much prefer the mixtapes, but the thing is, the first two are riddled with copyright issues. Dan Smith has even said that if you can find the mixtapes online, just download them as they can't sell them. Some of the tracks are more than just samples and I don't even want to think about how many copyright laws they must have broken :P
