I loved this show when I was a kid. The fact that it was shot in Los Angeles with LAPD appearing cops and vehicles was a real thrill. I was born and raised in L.A. and its nearby communities. Watching these clips is like stepping back in time.

Same. In fact I like going through the reruns and picking out the actual locations of each 'incident' scene. This particular scene was only about 6 blocks from my Grandma's house on Alvarado. And on an odd note, its one of the few times when they call out on the radio the actual correct street name of the incident.

It's pretty good. But spoiler - it was made at a time when women were gaining more ground in employment, so you'll see some of that backlash directed toward female officers. Not Reed and Malloy, but, well, you'll see. Happy Watching!

This was filmed in Echo Park Montana and Le Moyne most of the buildings are still there some look a bit different. What is hard to believe is today they would send 50 patrol cars and yellow tape the streets a half mile away. They overblow everything now.

I just watched, Trouble in the Bank on MeTV this evening and it REALLY bothers me that the INSANE guy who has NO conscience towards killing ONLY gets wounded at the end, and his partner who, AT LEAST, jumped in 2 or 3 times telling his MAD DOG killer friend NOT to kill the cops, ah, I just think the shooting results at the end should have been reversed!!!!!!! And if the milder of the two criminals, even though, he was OBVIOUSLY afraid of his "buddy" AND a total, MESS, would have listened to Reed's plan, of kicking the guy and grabbing the loose gun, well...
