Awesome video! Adam 12 is the best "cop show" ever produced!

I've been using Google maps to try to match the locations then and now, but your tour is so much nicer (and easier!)

I do the same thing as you. I watch Adam 12 on Me TV and every episode I will get the info and look for how the streets and buildings look now ☺. I love Adam 12 it was before my time but boy I sure wish I could go back in time to watch them actually film the episodes being made.

Very well done,I used to visit Southern California every half a year with my parents back in the 60s to 90s, brought a flood of memories. Thanks for the hard work!

Hello, I want to offer sincere Thanks for this video series!!! Obviously a labor of love by a true fan of this great show and era!!!… I grew up in the 60s and 70s in the Studio City area so all the locations are places I knew well and fond memories for me... The Harbor Isle apartments that were shown were less than a half mile down the hill from our house!… I also attended Campbell Hall School with Martin Milner’s daughter and William Boyett’s kids... My husband and I have been catching episodes lately on MeTV and all the memories lead me here.... Thanks again for putting so much work into this presentation! Your efforts are much appreciated! Take Care! Ashley G 🙋♀️💕🌻

You just made my day! I have been watching Adam-12 again and I am constantly pausing the show to look up streets on my computer. Its a lot of fun to see the cars that are now classics in new condition. It is great to see LA when the tallest building was City Hall. Pete and Jim are the best Police partners in history. Thanks again for the video!

L.A. has changed so very much. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I left when I was 19 years old. I came back, a little older, and much wiser 6 yrs. later. Shortly thereafter I began playing cops and robbers. 1969 or 68 Plymouth Belvedere police cars were the standard. And they were great. Four door Road Runners, only they were better than the Road Runner. LAPD specifications required a rear, factory installed sway bar. No other B body Chrysler product had a rear sway bar. Wish I could find one of those Belveders today.

I have wondered if any of the original Adam 12 cars are still around.

Amazing how time changes everything. I was just a young boy when they filmed the series and how from a young kids life it set a true respect for their jobs as Police Officers and a perspective from our living rooms on how much time the actors, and the whole team of people it took to make a show that made it what police shows are today. Awesome job. Thank you for taking your time to edit and put it together.

When i watch Adam-12, sometimes I can read a street sign and I will look it up on Google maps and see if it's still there and if it has changed

I do the same when I watch Adam 12 on Me TV. You can find more info of where they shot different episodes on the internet. ☺

That entrance towards the end looks exactly the same as on the 80's tv series "TJ Hooker" (have the series) which I'm sure it's the same entrnce. This an interesting video, really enjoyed..

I’ve done the same thing, revisiting the city where I was a police officer from 1977-1988. It’s so odd, some things are the exact same but Many have evolved with time. And that’s how it goes - time passes on.

I think that nothing ages a movie or a TV show more than the cars that are in it: I think people watching this should notice the cars in the "then and now " photos as well as the general location.

Adam-12 filmed in my Dad’s restaurant “Biff’s Coffee Shop” North Hollywood location. Season 1 episode 6 (1968). And season 5 episode 14. Maybe more. Biff’s was also in Hollywood, they might have filmed there too. The other Biffs locations were Reseda, Burbank, Long Beach, Encino, LA (7th and Alvarado. A Patch of Blue 1965 exterior sign).

The “magic chain” mailbox stand, seen in the Sylmar episode - Log 143: Cave - is still there on Dronfield Place at Foothill Blvd. … love watching ADAM-12 to this day, especially seeing the San Fernándo Valley as I remember it.

Hard to believe that I would ride Metro Local lines 424/425, 228, 230/239, 169, 420, & 412 to and from the SFV.

There are many Adam 12 episodes that show an old Sir George's Smorgasbord in the background, with their iconic purple and white sign. Would anyone know that shooting location? Thanks!

Things change and not for the better many times...one thing I've noticed and I did actually like in the SF valley area back in the mid 70s Granada Hills, is that things have become super crowded, and overgrown along with much dirtier too.

Simpler times , more respect and decency. So many positives happening in the music and entertainment industries (there were bads too but not near what today is) Today is a shell of what it used to be. A crap hole today is the best way to describe it. Wokeism has poisoned and destroyed so much. Sad .

Watching those great classic tv series of a day in the life of a L.A.P.D. officer from then to now ? And the real stuff they? And even ? N.Y.P.D. officers go through now? It's a great difference of night and day.. In a closing note here? The Uniforms back then of the Officers in the field of the L.A.P.D. then to now? Noticed ?? The officers then wore the caps in service when they would step out of their patrol cars? And now? I don't see those officers today? Wearing those caps out on the street's. In fact? Pretty much the only city of Police officers who still wear those caps? Are the N. Y. P. D. Plus the side arms or service weapons then? Were of I believe? Smaller caliber guns such as 38 specials. To now replaced ? Semi automatic handguns...wow how times ... Crime ? And society has changed and not all of it is good either.
