This is the last time Adam Again played as a band before Gene passed. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did watching it again.
The video is from an old VHS tape that's been copied several times... I wish the video was better but it is what it is what it is...
The main video for this show was shot by John Cook. There was another similar video by Eric Townsend but I think this one was John's. I couldn't get an answer on who shot the video from the side. I got if from thecannyshark's youtube channel.
Video Editing by BigDork
Audio by M8's Live At Cornerstone
Thanks to all you videographer's out there making it possible to see all these great shows!

I miss Gene more and more with each passing day. Adam Again's music resonated with me like no other band.

I was there for this Cornerstone (among many) and I got to talk to Gene in the products tent. He remembered me from past years when 1) he borrowed my portable phone (really big and heavy back then) and 2) when we almost gave him a ride to O'Hare airport. Despite this great show, he seemed really down that day and night. I wonder if he somehow knew??

Looks like I was by the camera on this...I will have to look out for myself! This was the first and last time I ever got to see AA with Gene. So glad I had that chance...was there to see them in 2000 but fate would have other ideas... I remember all the gear issues Gene had too and it made me uncomfortable for the poor guy trying to help out..which I found out that same year was the great Jeff Elbel! :) Many first that year at cornerstone for me and lots of awesome bands I never got to see inMI

Gene had some gear troubles at this show that vexed him fiercely. I remember getting bellowed at at one point when Gene was at the keys and something was misbehaving badly. Thing was, the stage was so deafeningly loud, I couldn't understand a word. I just remember thinking "fix everything!" Weird to see myself bounding offstage just after 8:00 with my old ponytail and nerdy glasses. Absolutely no disrespect to the fine bassist here, but I remember wishing Pauly had been there. Really miss Gene.

Hey Jeff, I'm the fill-in bass player. You took control of Gene's gear troubles like a champ! On stage it felt like an eternity....but watching now I see how you instantly made it all work again. Wasn't it a bad short cable between two stomp boxes?

Keith, great to hear from you. I believe you’re correct that the culprit was a crummy patch that took some flash hunting to identify, and it really did feel like forever in the moment. As mentioned before, absolutely no disrespect intended with the comment about Paul (a bass hero of mine). You filled that role mightily, and what bassist wouldn’t have loved that gig, locking in with Jon? I hope you’re doing well and still managing to play a lot and find work while shows are off the table.

Finally!!!! 34:29 and the band truly starts to play!!! Yeah! Let's Dance Around in Circles!!! Jam! This is the TRUE LA 1990s jams!!! This band captured the real "Valley" and "Orange County" in their jams!!!! We would ROCK this song in NJ!!! A whole bunch of YWAM-NY (Elizabeth, NJ) folks dug this band!!!

I remember those sound issues. The only time I got to see Adam Again, one of my favorite bands. I also got to meet Gene briefly that year. Truly amazing band and very important to me at that time in my life. I was about 10-15 feet from the stage in this show, I think.
