Good Lord, what a beautiful man. And rocking that Napoleon-looking jacket. I wish I could do that!

I never appreciated adam ant when I was a kid in the 80s. I thought the music was rubbish. When I got to about 25 I decided to listen to it properly and I was wrong. He was actually pretty original and interesting. I even liked his last album. It was better than most old man comeback records
@Bungle201011 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure I remember liking his music as a kid in the '80s. But that was based on his high profile tracks at the time. It was "Stand and Deliver" that always came into my head whenever I heard his name. I even had a poster of him up on my wall, that I believe I got out of Look In magazine. Then he dropped off my radar for a while...at least until the infamous incident that got into the thew news in the early 2000s. I've recently got back into his music, listening to the stuff I knew back then (can't get enough of the original version of this song) and the tracks that I've never listening to at the time. He was definitely more of a leader than a follower in music. I recently starting reading his autobiography. It's a good read.

Saw him in '83 or '84 at the Civic Center in San Francisco. Never knew there were so many gay teens. I was with some gal who looked like Little Annie Fannie from playboy. Thirty years later I am an ardent supported of True Colors, Cindy Lauper's charity to help gay teens. It goes full circle.
