Im currently on Axis art899 considering sk8 850 for prone, same area lower aspect and span. What im hoping is better control in less than perfect conditions, for more linking of waves, slightly more lift and better carving onto the next wave. The Axis seems to work well only when the waves are faultless. Let me know please.

So the SK8 will be completely different to the ART. The ART are good for going straight, but no good for any kind of surfing or turning. You won’t get as much glide out of a SK8, but it will turn 1 million times better. Even the eagle will turn a lot better. I would actually recommend the eagle for what you want out of a new wing as you’ll get more control, more linking of waves and better carving. The whole F-One system is just levels above Axis so any wing you get will feel better 🤙🏼
