The foil looks like more of a liability than an asset on a good waves, just watching it appears the foil get over speeded and Cavities losing all drive and momentum. The shampoo ride without the wing was the best.

@@LGguedo sorry, I was more referring to the guys calling it "gay" etc. and my comment landed in here with yours. I spent almost a whole day watching the finals at Sunset a few days ago. I think there's a big problem with waterspouts generally, as far as being spectator sports is concerned. If you're not intimately involved with the sport, watching a whole heat with only 2 guys out can be dull, waiting for them to get waves. Back in the 70's we had 6 man heats and there was non-stop action. Problem was then that average Joe had no idea who won!
