Heavyweight boxing, this is why this stuff kind of died out. The training is harder and the hits are harder too? I mean the hit he took didn't look like that big of a hit like the Dale Earnhardt crash into the wall. A lot of stuff that doesn't look like problematic are far more problematic than the ones that look way more serious. I think what happened was the hit he took to the back left side of the head made his brain sponge forward and because of gravity it stayed that way then he got hit it got high velocitied to the back of his head then the collision with the ground made it go forward fast causing the brain to bleed. I assume his supplements contained a blood thinner maybe? Not allowing the brain to clot normally and flow too much? Probably Nitric Oxide? @5:27 pause it and use the < > keys to see the moment of impact where his head hits the canvas. If he hit his head right where the support frame supports the canvas, that could explain it. Such force going into the head. Actually, a lot of people die from hitting their head like this. Sometimes in houses with wooden floors, people fall and think they are falling on just wood however under the house there could be a cement support and it means that there is less give / flexibility in the point of impact. Likewise, the canvas probably has steel supports.

Whoever decided to match these two fighters should pay the Ultimate price, plus Whoever let the fight continue, you dont have to be a fighter to see the caution sighns during the 1st round. F$`¥ ed up

That's heart breaking. Poor lad. The ref didn't do his job there. There was an obvious miss match. Hague was never going to give up because he is a fighter, and neither is the other lad going to stop fighting as he wanted to win. The raf and the corner didn't do enough there. Poor Hague was getting floored by jabs. So sorry this happen in this day and age. RIP

2:10. When will this 'sport' learn that an athlete involuntarily grabbing their head after multiple shots and going down is a sign of problem? We'll never be sure what punch caused his death. But fights have got to be stopped with this type of indication.

Whats the difference between braindead and a comma? Is it technically the same? Also is he pretty much deceased?

In the U.S.A. starting 2017, CDC adapted the National Concussion Surveillance System. My brother was participating in a tackle football game when he collapsed and his brain moved over 11.9mm from the center line and went into a coma. Ramon, is a second impact syndrome survivor, only reason he is alive is due to the EMT team and the individual who had a breathing tube when he collapsed and was unresponsive. Abundant Blessings and prayers for his family and friends.

I can't believe the referee ruled what was the third knockdown, a 'slip'. That was a knockdown and there's no question in my mind, the referee should've stopped that match right there. The fourth knockdown from a jab, just sustains my belief that the third knockdown was the time to wave it off. I blame the trainers. No boxing trainer worth their salt takes a guy with his obvious lack of boxing skills, and puts him in a boxing ring. I can't believe nobody looked at his previous MMA and boxing records, and said, "No, you're finished. Too many knockout losses here to let you fight."

people are talking about the ref but what about his corner tho?! smfh disgusting!!!
@Sabogey4 жыл бұрын
Hague was a great man who just wanted to bring money in for his family and kids. This is sad! The commission, the ref and his corner should all really reflect on this. They can become valuable for the sport as people who learn from the harsh mistakes. Blaming anyone isn't going to help anything, we need to learn from this. Lets NEVER let something like this happen again. We, as people are more intelligent than this.

Yea in MMA he just takes the first knockdown and couple more shots and it is all over. It is pretty safe to say he probably would have survived that. But no, have a breather and take some more brain trauma... again and again and again...

VeryFriendly Nihilist You sound proud of that. No sport should kill its participants on a regular basis. Boxing is outdated.
@e8tballz7 жыл бұрын
Boxing is far more dangerous than MMA. What we know of concussions now makes it even worse. The fact you can be concussed and given 8 seconds to get on your feet, when you might get a second concussion is scary. In MMA. When they see you're Not intelligently defending yourself the fight ends. Both aren't necessarily 'safe'. But one is safer than the other.
@cannabiscountry41717 жыл бұрын
+Tim Allen You can look them up for yourself. boxing is more dangerous for the exact reason he stated.
