Norm has gotten so much ink this year given his book and short stint as 'The Colonel', but nothing tops some of these gems from his "Phenomen' like flirt with absolute supremacy in the latter 00's.

Mel Tillis wrote "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town". It was the true story of his neighbor at the time who was a Vietnam vet..........and in the end, he did kill his wife.

Mel Tillis wrote it. Story is based on a news story about a Korean war vet. Not Vietnam. Regular sex, much less oral, wasn't talked about much in public much less in music. Still a very funny analysis. 💖

Yeah there are no songs about sex, especially not from the 1960s.

This was the crap that radio stations kicked the crap out of in the late 70s. Kenny Rogers was hugely popular and touring so they played all of his songs. Anyone who is over 45 knows this and many other horrible songs by country crossover artists. I laughed my ass off at the analysis, mostly because I was so young when it came out and didn't understand the lyrics. Adam Carolla is a genius.
@existenceisrelative13 жыл бұрын
Nope, not buying it. I still think that carolla and macdonald are the same person. They just call him macdonald when he's being funny. And they call him carolla when he's being an asshole.
