Not a lot of comics are brave enough to talk about Libertarians. But Adam Cayton-Holland is. From the Comedy Central album, "Semblance of Normalcy."

In 2008, I met a man in L.A. who was a retired animator for Disney. He told me a story about one of the directors who worked for the studio. He didn't say who, but you know it was one of these guys who directed wholesome family fare like Old Yeller and whatnot. Anyway, back in the 50s, this director guy had been banging some married lady. The lady's husband showed up at the door of the director's apartment at dawn one morning with a gun, grabbed him, threw him into the trunk of his car, and drove him into the desert. He pistol-whipped the director almost to death, stripped him naked and left him to die. The director managed to crawl to McDonald's, the first one built in the state. The employees clothed him in an apron and called the police. The director lived, but got a stern talking to by Walt himself, who didn't want the sordid story tarnishing the studio's reputation. So it was all quietly swept under the rug. Anyway, after watching this video, I like to think young Russ was there on his bike, having some fries and a vanilla shake after his paper route, and seeing that naked, bleeding man staggering toward him stayed with him forever.

That's the funniest story I've ever heard. I had to listen to it before I go to bed. I wish this was a fuckin movie. Josh Brolin as Russ.

I really think this whole bit should be the script for a completely bonkers short film..... I'm kinda wondering if I'd have to deal with McDonald's corporate jackals in order to clear the use of a desert McDonald's location.... Who knows.... prices and participation may vary
