I have bought 2 $85 mogami golds in a row that have incredibly horrible microphonic noise, not to mention static. I've not been this disappointed in a long time. Both are brand new, they have been tested through multiple amplifiers, di box, audio interface, guitars, and those guitars have been tested through multiple cables and devices as well. It's definitely the mogami cables. Yet my $30 Daddario cable Works absolutely fine.

There wasn't... it's called "if you pay top dollars for a cable, you have piece of mind" mentality. They probably get paid to use Mogami.
