KZbin, the gift that keeps on giving even 10 years after this awesome performance. This great on all levels. So very much appreciated.

Dear Friends and guitar lovers. I have been holding off on commenting on the many dislikes because the reason for them is quite surreal. I investigated how could this be, that in 24 hours, at some point last year, I got tons of thumbs down. It turns out that there was some kind of unexplainable glitch; It seems that 94% of the thumbs down came from………. you ready for this……. BANGLADESH….. I know, strange…..:) what have I ever done to them, I thought. So, as to be expected, Some people gave me a sincere thumbs down, that's fine, but not this massive amount from one country that is not knows for being a classical guitar metropolis. I have said nothing, because It always seemed undignified to respond to criticism in a public way. I figured I would "break" that rule since we do live a world of ever closer communication. Thank you all for your support and comments. Cheers.

I must have heard this piece a thousand times, so it is quite refreshing to hear this interpretation. Given Adam's background, he is tailor-made to breathe new life into these warhorses, to bring some fire back into the Spanish repertoire. As a teacher, Adam is one of the best in the business. Well done, Adam, you are an inspiration.

Fantastic. One could be fooled into thinking Albeniz wrote his music with you in mind. Your rendition of Sevilla reminds me of Alicia de Larocha’s live performance at Royal Albert Hall. The same subdued urgency.

Because most classical guitarists hate it when somebody plays a piece and actually respects the rhythmic intentions of the composer. It makes them look like they have no rhythm. Which most of them don't. Hit the dislike button all you want, but Adam is a genius player, that is an indisputable fact. His Albeniz interpretations are the best of all time imho.

During this quarantine I'm nailing and polyshing this excellent piece of that romantic epoch... I've listened versions of Julian Bream , John Williams, Timo Korhonen, Rafael Aguirre and dozens of other guirarists (some of their versions sound like child estudios despite their talent)... Julian Bream and John Williams are legends and they sound well, also Rafael Aguirre plays very spicy but in your interpretation I could feel the spirit of that era. Thank you for soulful performance. Great work!

Bless you for sharing your talents and hard work with the world. I love-I mean LOVE the Williams recording of this. I always share it with pianists and their usual remark is, "I need to learn guitar". This has now replaced it and is also one of my favorite recordings. Right up there with Hendrix "I Don't Live Today". (I think the dislikes might be traced to a "J. Williams" upon hearing your arpeggio version of what is normally rasqueados).

Hi Hans, It's just a double arpeggio up and down on the chords which John Williams does a rasgueado.
