Thanks for the video. We had some discussions last weekend at a race around the rear rollcenter adjustment. Now there is a expert with same recommendations like me. Learned so much from your videos, please do not stop.

Thank you sir. Allso I find the longer rear link . Gives more forward traction. But takes longer to find the traction . I think it makes the rear more stiffer so to speak.

The rest of your set-up can also have an impact on what you may be feeling when you make a change.

I really enjoy your setup and tunning videos. Very informative. I've been looking for a good tunning method or routine. Would you mind doing a video about the process you follow for setting up your different race vehicles? Which adjustments you make first or the order in which you make changes. I've found an abundance of info on what each adjustment does, but not really any on what the best method of applying them. Maybe a flow chart of sorts. Also maybe a list or rating of how much each adjustment effects the handling. Kind of like which adjustments are used to make dramatic changes and which adjustments are for the fine tunning. Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos!

I think you have got it the wrong way round, Higher roll Centre ( lower on the tower)Will distribute more weight towards the outside tire in a corner,putting more downward force on it helping it to dig in harder (more grip). In general with a low roll Centre ( up on rear tower) we are distributing our weight more evenly on both the inner and outer tires which will make them want to slide more and in a more controllable manner ( less grip).

Ryan is correct, and it is very much the same for all cars...

Ryan Duckworth This is another video hopefully can help you kzbin.info/www/bejne/moTOZHiOaK16n5Y on-road off-road same theory applies. when you set the roll center higher, the roll moment is shorter. The vehicle will roll less, this makes left-right weight shifting faster, more aggressive, but your tires' traction can easily be overpowered by lateral g. Also you have front and rear to balance. But your reasoning is incorrect. when roll center lowers, the vehicle will roll more, it will actually have more grip and when traction breaks, it is gentler. Now, to have lower lap time you actually want to minimize your so called 'slide'.

QUESTION: If the camber link is adjusted UP/DOWN, then do you re-adjust the turn-buckle so that the same static camber value is maintained? I believe that going UP/DOWN from the original position will move the hub inwards/outwards slightly. On the other hand, moving IN/OUT on the tower or hub--YES--readjust, but UP/DOWN, perhaps this not typically done/not-worth-it for the small amount of change. What do you think? Thanks!

If you're moving the link up or down, it won't change the static camber much, but it's not a bad idea to check it and adjust if needed.

@AdamDrake

It's may need slight adjustments when moving the inner link up or down.

maybe it would be possible for your employer to insert subtitles in several languages It would be great to have technical support and explanation of top drivers. It's an amazing opportunity to use the same material and get professional advice. But how can mugen and tekin forget all the pilots french (or other) ? it is an incredible waste can be the best possible christmas gift from mugen or tekin . Merry christmas AD

ahahahha certainly not ;) My English is very very limited I often use an automatic translator to translate texts from the internet. But I am unable to do it with videos. Really not possible, sorry But one of my friends is a proffessional of the english / french translation (she worked recently on the french translation of the last starwar). If Mugen or Tekin wants to offer technical support to all their clients, they can employ a professional translator. This would be an incredible commercial argument for them. Not all areas can have top professional advice directly about their material Your explanation looks great. But how many people can not understand half :/
