Adam, your 8R eco video you said to use .2mm shims on front and rear diff before bearing and you use on nitro as well, but in this Nitro video you dont mention using them? I just got a 8R nitro and about to build, wanted to reach out and ask if i use those shims, or build by book?? I did sent a FB message as well.. Thanks..

Is there any issue with glue that gets sealed under the tire bead not curing since it could end up being cut off from air?

Thanks for the tips bro. I also followed your break in process for one of my Kyosho touring cars and dude it’s running sweet! But I have a traxxas t maxx 3.3 I put an m2c clutch in it and I used the .95 springs in it and it shits and gets but when I come off the throttle it sounds like I kicked down a gear on a 2 stroke dirt bike. Would you say I’m using to heavy or to light of springs? Also it’s a 3 shoe I’m going to swap them out tomorrow just trying to decide which ones I should run

Great video, should mention droop as well. With the Mugen LW arms they tent to bend so measuring them using the length of the shock can be off. Would love a video on measuring droop especially in the front since pillow ball cars can have so much two out.

what about the paper method? run a piece of paper between the gears and it should dent the paper but not tear it..

Couldn't have said it better. No one is going to do anything in the garage if they have not already tried in their lab. The only time I think of mods is when I buy the cheap RTRs....

How about a new style of track, dirt track with a bunch of elevation change with different track conditions and small jumps… would be closer racing in my opinion. Call it rally X

I use the steel pivot balls in the lower arms on my 8TR'S nitro and eco, no 40g in the back of mine. Centre UJ's on mine and the alu diff crosspins aswell.

Thanks for sharing but very curious why you still use the deans connector? Over here in the south east in the summer it is 95-100 during the summer and those will melt in a 10 minute main here. I ruined a rx8 with a deans connector, the deans melted and arched the battery to the esc or something cause it fried the esc. But the battery just needed a new end put on. Thanks

Hi Adam, nice run! I noticed that you pass corners with throttle off, just freewheeling. Have you tried taking them with throttle on? It will be much faster, but it will also require more attention and effort)

Hi Adam I did this because it lost the previous settings, throttle and brake works fine now, but I lost my reverse, how can I program that? I'm new into this hobby just bought an Outcast 8s. Trying to find a manual but couldn't find it.
