Dynamite makes a good bottle that has a cap. I also bought a Team Associated fuel bottle and same thing. Use full information though.

Someone needs to make a good screw on cap fuel bottle like the old days again!
@cbh148Күн бұрын
I've had spouts start sliding out of the grommet/cap on the top of the bottle. I tried gluing the spout back in at the track using tire glue, but that only worked for a day. What worked for me was rolling up a little sand paper so I could scuff the inside of the bottle's grommet where the tube seats, then scuffing the surface of the spout where it makes contact with the grommet, then cleaning both thoroughly with alcohol, then using the tire glue. Been a-ok for about 8 months now, no probs.

isnt it kinda pointless to let it sit and wait in an emulsion shock ?? oO i don't get it, it will be full of air the second you start pumping the piston

Dirt is constantly changing. surface temperatures, moisture content ect. Your best bet would be to tune for track conditions throughout the day.

Any idea why my car is running sooo inconsistent? , idle gap .5mm bottom needle as lean as i can go without raising the idle so its too fast.. top end runs as high as it can without over hanging the revs coming back down. Just wont hold a consistent idle. kzbin.infolbzisG6j21k?feature=share
@AdamDrake15 күн бұрын
I'm not able to open the link. Could be low on compression or it needs to be leaner on bottom and smaller idle gap.

I tried this with my Truggy, A serpent but the same logic should apply to Mugen but not sure? Any way, using 1 shim on gear side behind the bearing caused my internal diff gears to skip, and become rounded. I’m going to explain why I believe this. I have been having diff crutch with my Truggy, I put new bearings new diff case, and had the 1 shim behind the bearing in rear in gear side. Well, I thought all day it was the ring and pinion skipping while racing yesterday… hmm. Later after not being able to figure it out, I looked at it and both rear tires would spin the same way there was no diff action. I was puzzled because I had not noticed that earlier but after my last race I threw it in the truck and forgot about it. So I I took the diff apart and looked at it. The internal gears were slightly chewed and rounded. Hmm… I thought about it, and to put a shim behind the bearing for the serpent at least, don’t allow the gears to fully engage, because the shim behind the bearing causes the large internal gear not to push as much against the spider gears allowing skipping. I fixed it today and it did well in my grass and a little in the road. No skipping but we will see at a track if it is indeed fixed. Love your channel Adam! Would love to hear your thoughts? Sorry for the long message. Lol

Start at 300 for break-in and you should end up in the 300-250 range.

@ thanks. I have a bad tendency of starting wayyyyy tooo loose. The last one i did i followed the way you do on the video and it ended up way better. I was putting to much grease so it was way harder to do the initial setup. Not tested on the track yet but it feel really good 👍🏻
