I think Tony put it best when he said AEW has the safest working environment. AEW talent is so safe in the ring it's wild. And major props to the medical professionals and referees that know when to call a match when someone is injured. I hope we can get Darby and Danielson in charge of safety in the future once they have retired from inring competition.

I can't help feeling a bit odd about this. I've always been a fan of Copeland's work. One side of me sees Adam as the kind of experienced wrestler that would be valuable in telling younger talent that they don't have to destroy their bodies for a spot to have a career in this industry. Another side of me is thinking the younger talent has somehow convinced this 50 year old accomplished wrestler that he has to jump off 12 foot cages and break his bones to stay relevant.

Edge's best match was in WWE his last PPV match for the company in Canada where he demonstrated master ring professionalism and counter point sparring that looked like Christmas. He needs to wrestle like that in AEW. Smooth as a cats ass and still older than the rest of the wildish children that are trying to hard. Everytime they think of a new move, Edge could predict and punish you for trying. That was inspirational.

A 50 year old veteran who is one of the most accomplished wrestlers jumps from top of a cage. Nothing to gain, everything to lose. Why? I have something constructive to say about this, and I hope it's taken in good faith. I think the one thing Copeland needs to consider is evolving his character, and his style when he comes back. I know that there is demand for guys to jump off of high structures, but Copeland isn't 25 anymore. At this age, you can still do things, but you start playing games with constant pain. I am a huge fan of how Christian has reinvented himself as a disapproving father figure. I don't feel like Copeland has evolved past that persona that broke his neck all those years ago. I like Copeland. When I was in Iraq during the Second Gulf War, WWE was something that helped keep me going. I don't want to see this guy end up like an old rodeo star bull rider where he's permanently crippled up. Mr. Copeland: Please evolve if you continue to do this. You don't have to trade blows with these guys. You just need to beat them in the ring, and embarrass them in the process. Blessings.

He will always be known to me as edge. I hope he gets to come back to the major league instead of playing around in small half empty arenas. Living in the same town as he does I've actually got to see him out 2x but he was with his family so I never bothered him but I would have loved to meet him

Celebrating old guys for making dumb decisions is not cool. It’s the same reason Jeff Hardy is a near death experience everytime he wrestles now

Remove one instance where he did something that even he admits was a little on the dumb side and the reality is he's been having some extremely entertaining matches, even at his current age. All he has to do is not jump off of cages and he will continue having extremely high level matches. There are plenty of wrestlers half his age wrestling on television every week who can't tell a story in the ring half as well as he still can.

It's crazy how this 1 pop turned everyone in a wrestling coach. People who've never been in the ring, just coaching from the bleachers. Act like injuries aren't a part of wrestling, sports, etc. if he doesn't break a bone, we're praising him with zero outcry. Biased of course. He's 50, been doing it for decades for the biggest company, now in full creative control and after the good match he was still walking and alive. He was right when he comes from the school of Bret Hart, he's not some hypocrites cry baby sitting on the sidelines after 1 DDT

AEW doesn't seem to have hired a great medical/training staff. Imagine if Shad had a bunch of amateurs tending to the $2 billion worth of athletes in Jacksonville? This is not good optics.

shawn michaels besides the one time he was dumb to come back and wrestle, which he wasnt too bad. Shawn has the only brain that he knows when its time to stop. Jericho and Edge is just ruining what they were known for in good wrestling.
