I don't know exactly what happened but I will say I always thought of 3DG as Adams band he was the one practicing in the hall everyday and writing the songs and I think maybe the drug use was a result of all the pressure put on him so I am just glad he got out before it killed him. To be honest I did not see much of him outside of school because I already had a tall blue eyed boyfriend who would not have liked that very much but I did see a thing or two it was a small town and Brads locker was only 2 down from mine.

+buRnthastuff Fuck you and your opinion. Because you laugh at Adam's medical life and insulting him by saying "he couldn't do it because of physical inability, he just wasn't passionate about the music they produced anymore". Well, that's way too fucking harsh. Because TDG is nothing without Adam in it. So get your facts straight if you have any.
@buRnthastuff9 жыл бұрын
JasonMorganGuy4Life He has made music since which proves my point about his ability to continue doing the same, it was widely known that he just wasn't happy with TDG, that being the reason why he left. Shut your mouth you ignorant little fanboy.

buRnthastuff Are you so sure about that? Because have you heard Adam say that? Or you're just misinformed about it by making assumptions of something that you are so ignorant about it. Because that's my opinion.

JasonMorganGuy4Life If you strand on a year old topic and comment, go do your own research idiot, it's quite easy to figure out if you would use your brain instead of wasting other people their time. "After twenty years of being part of an ever evolving band, I have been inspired by life, to move on and to continue to evolve on my own terms. I could not be more grateful for all the souls who have travelled along with me. A journey I look back on with integrity, and a future I look forward to with such hope" -Wants to move on by himself. "The truth is, and I’m very proud to say this…, I am sober. That chapter in my life is over." -So no drugs/alcohol issues, good health. I mean, yes he is, and what made them the Three Days Grace that we know and love, but that doesn't mean you should just trash on Matt Walst and say he isn't Adam, He may not compare to Adam at all. But at least he stepped in and save Three Days Grace. Would you rather have your favorite band keep making music, or see your favorite band discontinue making music??

+ReDTeaRx yeah that's why he's been not only my favorite singer and artist but also my role model for the last... I think 4 years. He's such a great person. Noone really knows why Adam left 3dg, but I personally look at it from a different point of view. I try to think Adam left 3dg because he wanted to persue happiness in a way he couldn't in 3dg, and being my role model I want to follow his footsteps and do the same myself :)
@TheMLGHispanic508 жыл бұрын

@thetwo10708 жыл бұрын
+hilebard I just read that comment and btw. Im 12 years old and actually this is the song i listened to that made me fall in love with them. In class we needed to get to know each other and the teacher was like "Sasha, who is your role model" Me: "Adam Gontier" nobody knew who he was and i was ok with that. Its probably not the smartest thing to look up to him. But Three Days Grace is the band i comepletly relate to. Especially "The End Is Not The Answer" . Not that its bad to look up to him, i just relise he had been through so much and hes MUCH older than me but im pretty sure im going to turn out like him when i grow up.
@hilebard8 жыл бұрын
Sasha Atwood He is my role model too. He's a normal person. A normal person with normal issues, but he always stays true. He always remains the person he wants to be. And when he was in a place he didn't want to be, what did he do? He sacrificed money and fame, for what? Being where he wanted to be. He did it for happiness. Could there be a better role model?

From what he said all I think he didn't want to stop the band from going on a tour and set them back.So he "retired" and he has been staying low since then,not like doing nothing but just low.Also, i really don't like it when I see comments on videos like the one i responded before from people who clearly have no clue what is going on and they just act like they do.I mean at least if you claim to be a fan you should know the names of the people in the band,their songs and other basic stuff.
