Dude for real. How solid is this guy? He's so snappy and has insane control. Look at his left hand choke the crash for a split second. Few drummers have that kind of speed.
@Jcikokalol3 жыл бұрын
Matt Greiner is known as a cornerstone for this style of music and is one of the absolute most well known drummers and called one of the best, and I love him ...but Adam was easily right up there with him. I'm not going to say better because it's subjective, but imagine seeing the career your friend has as a drummer and you were in the same exact place he was and just as good, just to have shit luck take it away from you. I love Greiners podcasts they do with Adam,.
@josephwashington20962 жыл бұрын
Weak song writing is the cuplirt here. Dude is a macine, one of the best in the genre. The song writing issue may not even fall on him, but he was in a band that made one good album, and couldn't follow up the magic, similar to I, The Breather.

I have watched this video so many times, along with other videos of him playing this. This is truly a masterpiece... This is the best drum piece ever written. I said that 4 years ago, and my mind hasn't changed. And the fact that he is able to play at such a high tempo.. flawlessly... perfect technique.. add tons of visuals.. Adam Gray is my favorite drummer.

I like ABR more than TIJ so I like Matt more but saying Matt is a better drummer than Adam just proves you can't tell who actually is the better drummer in every aspect. Adam plays what Matt plays in ABR but not vise versa. Both insanely good drummers but Adam has more skills on the set all around.
@ynotsammy10 жыл бұрын
I will say both are insane drummers and I hope to build my skill up to my potential, but saying that I can't tell who is the better drummer shows me you don't know how to keep your own opinion without trashing someone elses, both are equally awesome but in the end for accuracy and stronger chops I would have to say Matt is a winner in my books. Here is the part where we argue and such but I am going to save us the time... we both have separate opinions and we both believe they are great drummers so let us leave it at that!
